As for the OP, yeah I’m tired of the promises blizzard doesn’t keep also. Whether someone thinks it’s a trivial matter doesn’t matter, a promise is a promise. I am curious though, I thought the new Worgen and Goblin model updates were coming with this patch? You know the model updates blizzard promised us, what is it now, two expansions ago?

Too flashy, but still better than the new Templar’s Verdict. I hate that one.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, maybe it’s inspired by a more oriental style? Looks like an effect you would see in a Korean mmo. I also feel less powerful. The burst of energy is just not there.
Will they make a glyph though? I strongly doubt it.

Would be nice to know but like I said before, more than likely a visual issue with other things. Guessing of course but that is most likely the cause.
It could be something as simple as they changed their minds. But I have a feeling they’ll never say why.

I’m not even particularly fond of Solar’s posts, but she is correct. Nothing on the PTR is guaranteed to go live and everything is there for testing to see if it would be viable on live. Some things are changed, others are removed during this process. I understand people being disappointed that it didn’t make the cut, but Blizzard didn’t lie about it. Heck, I have two Paladins myself.

Wouldn’t be great if we actually get a blue on this? maybe it will get patched? maybe was a bug?
Personally, I hope it never makes it live. I’m tired of my Paladin looking like a cartoon character with her animations. And that’s what the consecration update looked like to me: more cartoony stuff.
As a glyph, go for it. Baseline? So glad it wasn’t.

Smashy you are most likely just going to have to live without getting the blue post you want. (On the other hand they seem to like proving that I am not a shill buy doing the opposite of what I expect so you knows?)
PoE sells nothing but cosmetic gear, and spell effects, along with other cosmetic stuff, and that game has been putting out quality content since day one, and at a very fast rate. GW2 makes most of its income on armor/weapon, and mount skins. I’m not sure why WoW hasn’t delved into a cosmetic marketplace. They’ve already stopped caring about what armor looks like as far as drops go. It seems like they may be leaning that way.
Good luck with that, there are enough issues they need to address that answering this type of question is likely, at least in my opinion, probably at the bottom of the list. You may eventually get an answer but I wouldn’t count on a quick response. Maybe it will show up as a glyph at some point.

A lot of people on Reddit and MMo-champion are wondering why This “consecration” animation didn’t make it to live.
We just want an answer that’s it.
