The only thing I was exited about this patch was this
Guess what? of course, they didn’t add it… why? just why at least tell me that this is coming in 8.2 or something…
MAKING YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL SO HYPED FOR SOMETHING THEN NOT IS BAD AND I’M SO UNHAPPY.
Tell us more about this, what happened? why didn’t we see it go live with the other animations?

I don’t see the hype about it. that looks too flashy to be consecrated. Consecration is putting purifying energy into the earth. Which makes sense behind the crackling energy like form on the ground.
This looks too much like a stained glass image.

So what? I like it, and I was hyped about it.
Where is it at?

Absolutely agree. I was surprised and a bit heart broken when I didn’t see it. I’m hoping it was a memory hog glitchy issue bug and they are working diligently to fix it up and add in.
Please confirm with the powers that be. Thanks!

This was the only thing you cared about in this patch?
I think it’s time to take a break and come back later, my mate.

Now Sister, he could just be pragmatic and understood how awful 8.1 really was but for this one little thing he clung to to be positive.

A lot of people sure seem mad about the patch.
That’s a cool new graphic. The art team, as always, is doing an excellent job.
There. I said something nice and actually meant it. Ohgoditburns!!!

It’s not in the patch, thank god. It looks terrible.
Honestly, they did a pretty terrible job for the new paladin class fantasy except for Templar’s Verdict and the new wings.

I don’t raid anyway because I feel like raiding is rather like an unpaid job, so Dazar’alor means nothing to me. I am also a night elf, and am staying a night elf and don’t play alts, so the allied races do not concern me. I also don’t even do mythic keystones, so the Azerite vendor has really no effect on me (scrapping AP gear will take forever to get enough for a piece).
I’m a filthy casual PvPer working on advancing Hippo Watch 2018 (80% now) and fleshing out my achievements and other collections whilst enjoying an in-game social life of a few select, fantastic people.
So I’ve been looking forward to the Night Warrior customization and the Darkshore armor sets, the War Campaign, the very many quality of life changes, Paragon reputations returning without mounts, and many more things. Even if I don’t like some of the story decisions they’ve made I’m still looking forward to every patch because I love this game and actively make time for it in my schedule and I’ve been playing long enough to know that I’ll keep doing so.

Visuals and such are all up to personal taste. I’ve known some warlocks that absolutely cannot stand green fire for whatever reason, and there’s nothing wrong about that. Probably the best approach for everyone would be to make it a glyph, or a spell effect that can be learned at a trainer (like mages’ Arcane Momentum).

Looks garbage and make it hard to see mechanics, glad it didn’t make it to live.

We need a lot more customization options like this; make a glyph for the old consecration and let people choose. Do this with every affected skill.
Then give night elf priests silver light instead of gold, and let void elves use void instead of holy skills so our race/class choices can make sense. ![ ](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=6")

Haha ya right? Either way it was wowhead who lied not blizzard.
Anyway, I’m not surprised it was cut. It’s far too flashy. Maybe it will be a glyph or an animation for a raid boss or something.

I agree, it was obnoxiously bright and annoying. I still want it to be an option for people though, considering it’s already been made.
I don’t care, I want it they should make a glyph for it…
Wow has always lacked so hard in cosmetic customization when you compare it to other games out there. More choices in how our characters and their abilities look would be a huge huge huge huge money maker.
More hair styles.
More beards.
More body sizes.
More face options.
Tattoo/scar options.
Dyable gear.
More lenient xmog rules (plate to cloth etc)
Let us change the color of all our spells
Different voices
Player housing
A ton more titles, even for mundane accomplishments. (Kill 500 spiders get the Spiderbane title)
Let us name our mounts
I know 99% of that is too much work and will never happen. I’d be happy with more glyphs for spell customizations, more hair and beard options, and more titles.

Our paladin in raid was very bummed out to realize the new consecrate wasn’t in. Here’s hoping they add it eventually.

They better do patch it in, or add it as a Glyph.
this is so disappointed.
I don’t even remember Blizzard saying this was coming.
