But that’s not my point, my point is… why didn’t they mention anything about it? or like “hey it’s not gonna happen this was only for testing, don’t get your hopes”
Why are you so hard at it? Ever heard the maxim “Every action gets a reaction?” That is the principle behind making inflammatory threads. If you make an extreme post, expect at least a few extreme responses.
Did it occur to you that maybe they didn’t say something like “hey it’s not gonna happen this was only for testing, don’t get your hopes” because the point of testing is to see what works and what doesn’t? That the things they test are things they intend to put in but only if it turns out ok?
I mean this is a molehill in the greater scheme of things although it is important to you. That is clear. But I am amazed at your pushing pushing pushing on it.
Look if you get a blue post out of this fantastic. I hope whatever answer they give you satisfies you but I seriously doubt it will. Plenty of people here have given you possible reasons and your answer as come back, “I don’t care i want it.”
Because if we ignore this, they know we won’t care and it will just fade away… and maybe they will add it 2years away from now.

That’s just what Solar was going on about. She sometimes pulls that forum-queen persona and her words can be read like a scolding-mommy tone, but she’s right. There’s nothing here to get mad about, nothing to shout in ALL CAPS about.
There have been lots of things on betas and PTRs for every xpac that never made it to Live. Or even written on blue patch notes that didn’t show up. I remember some disappointment years ago when I got caught up in a new feature that never was.
This is a game in constant flux, ever changing development. Nothing is promised, nothing guaranteed. You get what you get.
Don’t accuse Blizzard of lying when you and they know they never promised this.
Aw, oh well on the guy part. On the rest, I was only joking. We’re done arguing now and established (many times) that I am wrong so I was just being silly to diffuse the tension.
