If you read the posts on the forum regarding people who want the LFD option in Wrath Classic a.k.a 90%+ of us, you will notice that the amount of likes their posts get outnumbers the anti-lfd people by tenfold or more. So it’s clear that the number of people who want the LFD option VASTLY outnumber the ones who don’t. Blizz, pay attention to our posts please.
We are NOT living in 2008 anymore. Most of us veteran Wow players don’t have all the time in the world to play your game anymore. We’re older now with adult life responsibilities, with full time jobs, families/kids to take care of, chores to do etc. We can’t just sit back and relax and play your game for 10-12 hours a day anymore, our lives have changed!
We’re not that young anymore with all the time in the world to sit in LFG chat and keep spamming till we get a group going, then head to the dungeon, then (possibly) wipe a bunch of times, have to SPAM LFG again if one member leaves or ninja logs etc. MOST of us want to get the dungeon over with and move on with our day. We have very little to no time now that we are adults with responsibilities.
Your announcement to not introduce the LFD option has also killed a lotta people’s hype for Wrath Classic! Please consider adding the LFD option back to Wrath Classic!

the rebuttals ya’ll pro Dungeon Finder give are a trip. No logic, no able to see the other side.
example: “Let us use LFD, if u still want to use channel/guild/etc you can”.
The idea is to not lose the social aspect. If you take a huge chunk of the players and separate them w/ the use of such a tool, the social aspect is still lost.
LFD would kill our way. There is no side by side.
I’d be ok with alternatives to the old Dungeon Finder.
(cross-realm LFG channel / tool. Seriously, you have a LFG tool in the game already… why not let it work cross-realm?) But the way it was/is… hell no
ORRRR If youre worried about the social aspect, try using the chat channel to say “does anyone wanna queue in dungeon finder with me?”
2 things would then happen. First, a no or no answer. Queue and move on. Second, a yes, and then you inv, queue, and go pick herbs or talk to that person or… do whatever youre doing, til the dungeon pops.
Again, no logic. You think the mere existance of that system would not take away a large chunk of people from even paying attn to such channels?
No. People will go zombie and que for Dungeon finder over and over.
This will kill LFG channel / etc, in the same type of way the lack of AH killed horde on my server. Not because nobody wants this method, but the snowball effect
After the initial, ppl who dont like the lesser activity leave. Those extra people leaving triggers more, and so on…
No, it never did take away. I was one of the ones leveling up a bunch of toons near the end of wrath and every time I queued, especially on something that could tank or heal, I’d throw it out in chat and be like “tank queuing for dungeons if anyone wants to tag along for the fast queue.”
Lemme tell ya, TONS of dps will queue with you. And for dps classes, sometimes we just sat and bs’d til it popped or whatever.
The “social” argument is just hilariously false. Nothing changes except the time sink to do things. That part gets easier with LFD.
Lol never did take away. Just because you, in your in-demand role, got social activity, does not mean there would not have been more if dungeon finder wasnt a thing period

Dungeon Finder was the precursor to Raid Finder. Ya’ll remember the hot coals too fondly. Eventually you get burnt

I leveled DPS too, which I stated. Rogue, Lock, Mage… Did a bunch. Every time, so much better than without LFD. Matter of fact, I refused to level anything else once they announced LFD just so I could use that system because the same quests 56903468 times is terrible, but I enjoy dungeons.

what people fail to realize is that back in the day, the term “wrath babies” was used to refer to all the new people coming into wrath who “had it SOOO EASY” because classic/tbc was “hard.”
WRATH IS SUPPOSED TO BE EASY. lol. Thats the thing. Wrath was built for the casual player. The game you want is classic/tbc.
What’s funny is there are these Community purists running around acting like LFD is the work of the devil, and it will taint the vibrant and glorious social community of classic. I am unsure what crack infested trap hole they crawled out of, but after almost a year of TBC, if they can say standing at summoning stones looking for people to run a dungeon with, while you are being spammed in whispers and local chat by boosters wanting to sell you runs, while the tank you thought you found chuckles and says 50g and I will tank for you, is quality community that needs to be preserved - It’s time for rehab.
LFD was in the original Wrath, it should be in here. Period. Classic is supposed to be there to relive what was, or experience it as it was for the first time, not cater to whims and woes of a rose-tinted group of people.
Isn’t this the main point? its been #somechanges, and all of a sudden its #MAJORchanges and people are arguing NOW saying its fine…? If they want purity and the “CLASSIC” experience, RDF should be in game. easy

Also in case people are un-clear. As has been stated in MANY other posts here recently. This whole “community” and “social” aspect is not relevant to WoW directly. Nowadays its tied to things like Discord. People are being active and social, like… always lol. They don’t need to be social in-game, and to use that as an excuse is just silly to me.
If I want to do heroics with a friend or two and we queue for RDF, do I have to be overly social in /p? Is that a requirement? If I’m talking in disc with my 2 other buddies, thats enough, right? Provided I say relevant things to the dungeon itself in /p, thats enough. I don’t need /p to make new friends, and again, to use that as an excuse is beyond silly. Becuase never have I formed a 5 man and made friends via it. Especially with mega servers. People are just trying to do heroics, thats it.
It is because they are selfish. They had their way since 2019, and now that it’s time for qol changes instead of just playing era or SoM they want to drag us down with them.
