Anime fans: bad
I don’t know much about anime since I’ve only watched what netflix has to offer but I found that both arcane and the cyberpunk one were more hype than actually being master pieces as they claim on the Inets. Berserk, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man and Evangelion were really good (but I wanted to slap Shinji the whole time).

I was never really into anime growing up. Other than the late night Adult Swim Anime like Inuyasha etc - but I didn’t know they were Anime.
Around 14 years old, before I found WoW, I found a game called Flyff. Loved it to bits. Totally anime-like korean grind MMO cash shop stuff but it was my first real online experience. Met a lot of cool people <3
After Flyff I found WoW of course, 2007, but this is about anime - I never really got into Anime SHOWS until I met my husband in 2021. He was/is totally into Anime, having watched thousands of hours. Naturally, I started to watch it with him and now I’m absolutely in love with Anime.
We’re currently watching (husband is rewatching lol :P) Jojo and omg what an incredible Anime. I love Konosuba, Demon Slayer and My Hero as well… They’re all super good.
I’m not really that much of a fan of anime but I’ll admit some of it is good. Was convinced to sit down and watch Fate with a friend and Zero and UBW were really nice. Watched Frieren recently as well, that was a good show.
I don’t really get the super popular shows like FMAB or One Piece for example though, esp one piece. It’s probably mainly the artstyle there though.
Would rather say Fandoms are bad. Being a fan of genre / show is fine. Though the fandoms that are birthed when they group together is when it can get very problematic.
Wednesday for example, that fandom were trying to get Jenna and Emma to hook up IRL cause of their headcanon. Same happened as well to Netflix’s She-Ra last few seasons. They went from building and slowly going towards the darker and edgier tone with high risk plot lines of fan favorites possibly being killed off, to ultimately giving all that up cause the fandom wanted Adora and Catra to hook up and not play into the already laid out long psychological torment Catra built up anymore. All cause the fanart shipping them was cute on twitter.
honestly I find it funny how wow players are so anti anime and anti furry When the game and story is a hell of anime big time and I’m not talking about popular ones, look into comic animes such as lady death or spawn lol its very funny seeing a wow player saying eww furry or eww anime, like most things. Then I realize a lot of wow players are from the USA where its normal to be a hypocrite just look at religons lol. I’ve always found it funny to see a person say eww to something then turn around and mainly be in something that is honestly more anime then 99% of popular anime

HBO’s Spawn was guuuuuuud. I re-watched it not that long ago on Max. It still holds up. Keith David crushes it as Al.
ya it really was, idk who I would trust to do it but id murder for a spawn series that was actually good. the only reason I partly don’t want it is I don’t trust makers to not butcher the f out of it
Keith David is such a gem of a dude. It was fun hearing him in Hazbin Hotel after growing up a 90s kid.
Man, these days, I don’t trust anyone. Sometimes I just take a chance and hope to not be disappointed.
I mean idk if the dude is still alive but whoever did the animated cartoons for the tales from the crypts on amazon could do it I think rather well
The Tales from the crypt, Live action with puppet, and cartoons on prime is the same guy who voices Buster Bunny from Tiny Toons.
Are we talking about the cartoons from the 90s or is there a new animated Tales from the Crypt?
so in general the god tier actor and the 90s old old one I bought the tv series (not animated and whoever did them is f amazing as hell enjoy every episode watching before I pass out
If anything american “adult” cartoons have the turn off of making it so focused on these things that it just make watching it kinda awful.

For a second I thought there might be a new Crypt series and was like… “how have I not heard of this?”
…you know thinking back on it, watching that series when I was very young would explain alot of what the hells wrong with me.

I’ve tried watching Jojo several times and it’s never hooked me. It’s been about 4 years since I last attempted to watch it so maybe I’ll try again. 
Part 1 can throw a lot of people off so some folks say you could skip it but eh.
you miss out on Speedwagon if you do that.
But then you get to part 2 and everything is just “OH WE GROOVIN!!” lol
