An Eye on Player Behavior and Reporting Improvements

Hey you leveled a bit. No longer level 10.

Which side are the snowflakes? The side acting like the world is ending because they made you reclick Accept on stuff that has always been the terms of service, or the side that doesn’t see what the big deal is and is just going about their day?

We talking about the game here not about “larger issues”. I tend to my larger issues just fine. And when I want to run form them to the game you people here ruining all the stuff with your whine. Being obnoxious, pitiful and disgracefully feeble.

Love it. Keep it up.

And that it is ok to be a poor sport when you win, and you have to rub everything in the face of your opponent, and when you scream for free food and goodies in every raid and BG, and when you rail against people who do not agree with you. It has come to the point where bad behavior is not even recognized as being bad, because it is so common.

As you say, if these players were to act like they do in IRL there would be a lot of broken noses and missing teeth.

So does this mean that person I’ve been reporting “Camerina” is actually going to have something done about them?

A menace in the realm, calling people all sorts of names and spams people with messages.

I highly doubt something will be done.

Cute but I’ll believe you’ll do what’s right when you actually do what’s right.

This system is straight up worse for reporting all the WTS 2’s 3’s! spam in LFG. Just a bunch of extra clicks and time wasted reporting the same losers over and over for months. How is Zsteezy still griefing 2v2 arena with boost sales? I have reported him dozens of times from LFG window. Bad changes have only made it take 6 clicks to report advertisement instead of 2.

I hate the idea of signing another contract especially with such a disappointing past two expansions, scandals, and POOR handling of the community as well as hypocritical stances in the modern day landscapes.

I won’t lie I canceled my subscription as soon as I saw the social contract I’m just tired of all this and Blizzards shenanigan and the poor quality of WoW. Warcraft can sit on the shelf for awhile, I’ll focus on Warhammer as a hobby now.

yeah, it is tyrrany.… because the world doesn’t revolve around who’s feelings are hurt.

i don’t think you have any idea what the consequences are of the ideas you so cavalierly advocate for.

you should try moving to communist china. I think you’ll like it there.

You’d think if there were going to be consequences to having rules against swearing, insults, harassment and disruptive behavior in a video game that caused the downfall of society or something, it would’ve happened in the 18 years since the same rules about those activities have been in place.

Maybe you should try playing a different video game without Code of Conduct and Terms of Service rules against expressing yourself as colorfully as you choose without tyrannical censorship instead of this one, where they do.

I mean, that’s basically what it comes down to. The bottom line is that Blizzard isn’t going to lift rules that they’ve had since Two Thousand Aught Four just because people complain that they want to be able to engage in behavior that is a detriment to the experience of other players in their game, no matter how many half-understood terms they throw around like woke and socialism and tyranny. A person’s $14.99 a month is not worth letting them make the game a hostile environment to other players. At all.

You don’t want to put up with this kind of “treatment”? Then don’t. Decline the social contract, cancel your sub, move on to darker, more secluded corners of online gaming. It’s fine, no one here will be sad! Go on. Scoot.

I would consider it more a “think before you type” kind of atmosphere. If that is not possible, then don’t type. If you must type, accept the consequence. It is not up to anyone else to manage YOUR self control. If a majority of players don’t like what you are doing, think of it like democracy, in which the majority should prevail. If the owner of this house (or game) decides what rules to enforce based on such a wildly contrasting set of opinions, it is their responsibility to select how the game is played according to how they designed it. The rules are being offered up front, you can accept them or not.

It won’t. IDK why some (not all) people are freaking out about rules that never changed.

And, I said, over and over, again that the new report categories is just Blizz’s new way to ignore tickets, they don’t really care about.

The scariest part about this is those people who are freaking out don’t really have a valid explanation as to why. For goodness sake, get mad at gas prices, that is something to actually be upset over.

So seroius question then, did blizzard stop sending messages to people who were close to being actioned?

Way back in wrath if you were being toxic you got in game mail that was called “an education” that told you what toxic behavior you were exhibiting and to stop.

Please add refraining from spamming the forums with LGBT stuff to the social contract.

I think they did.

I have never seen this.

Odd how we seem to see this said by people who deliberately set out to be offensive then whine that the game should be a safe space for their ilk.

Ok no need to label it, you should actually push for the spam provision itself, and ask why Blizzard doesn’t treat these threads like they did the high elf ones.

my biggest issue is seven people onthe horde side i know got banned/suspended for being outside stormwind and killing alliance since when does blizz ban for world pvp :frowning:
