I think its more the biased media makes it seem like a positive to quit. Remeber which side controls 4 of the 5 major news networks and there’s your answer. The reality is people that quit are no hero but its just a game so nit that serious overall.

Yet here, Simone Biles stepping back allowed someone like Suni Lee to shine. This is an opportunity for the US to look at countries like China and Vietnam and say “See? If you hadn’t treated these people like trash, this could have been YOUR gold medal. Suni could have been representing YOU. Instead, she represent the US.” Biles stepping away meant an opportunity for the US to win in more way than one.
