I think they will be nice but not a big deal for me. I have several houses in ESO and haven’t even visited them all.
I dont really care either. Im assuming they will be popular for a patch cycle or two and then mostly abandoned. Like most games. Its almost always a waste of resources.
Oh I remember WoD and the lies about how it is not going to gate game play, then the shipyard came out.
I am curious about the neighborhood rewards. While I don’t despise them am not happy about them either if that makes sense. If you are in a small guild 50 plots is a lot or if you just play with a small friend group. I have some worries about it but since nothing is fleshed out yet I have a little hope.
Considering that houses will be evergreen, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get QoL things like portals and auction house functionality in them.

I mean I want to improve my characters power as much as the next person, but it’s not the end-all-be-all of WoW for me. I’d rather have transmogs.
Heck on Tuesday I even discarded a slight upgrade for a transmog when I opened my vault on one of my toons.
Helps that it’s so close to the end of the season that I don’t really care at this point.

I couldn’t care less about it, I’d rather they just concentrated on making the game fun again and stop copy/paste recycling the same old trash format for “content”.
But I do have confidence that however they try and implement housing, it’ll be terrible and require 12 revisions to transform into about half of what it should have been on release.

Playing only for player power is sad. Player power is just the progression system that lets you get the shiny stuff
Player housing (hopefully) is another version of shiny stuff to get because mounts are getting pretty stale

It’s a game. WoW would be a richer experience if the devs remembered that from time to time. Sometimes it’s okay to do things for fun.

Housing was legit end game for my guild in ESO. So much fun.
Yeah, in swtor my apartment has an AH and a bank box. I only go to the fleet when I really want to talk to others or RP at th catina.

Some of y’all going into romantic detail about other games housing as if you’re the only person that has played that game is weird.
99% of the time it becomes something that is just there. I’ve never once in 25 years played an MMO that has player housing as its main Attraction.
It’s just fun to think of what it could be on the forums and after it’s added no one cares when do we get ogres now
