No you don’t, I know FFXIV has no login times. The only time you’ll see those is when the login servers are being overloaded by everyone trying to login at the same time during an expansion launch which is nothing new when it comes to MMO’s. You are painfully desperate to prove your MMO of choice is better than it actually is.
You mean you’re out because you don’t actually have a counter argument against the gearing and itemisation thing, which is just a hard truth.
Enjoy those restrictive systems of FFXIV while the shine lasts, you’ll come to see what I mean when you actually know the game in and out.
Projecting much? FFXIV fans are the ones that post here so desperately trying to prove their choice is correct. By all means though continue pretending if it makes you feel that much better, you’ll fit right in with the rest of those cultists when it comes to praising FF14
I was, but my notification keeps going on and I keep clicking it… then it’s just this weird WoW troll trying to defend his flawed views by personally attacking me.
I’ll be the bigger man here and just set you to ignore.
Make sure you post something snarky, but know I won’t see it.
Ah yes my flawed views that you have yet to provide a counter argument for because it’s based on objective truth.
I see that delusion of yours continues on undimmed just as your projecting is, as i’m now the “troll” when you’re the one essentially going “u mad?” lol
Stop talking out your rear. Most of the time when I log into 14 there’s a queue. It’s only like a minute but I do get a message “server full, position in queue xx”. Think what you want but this is a fact.
I’m on Behmoth and the only time I didn’t get a login queue was when I got up at 7 AM EST on Saturday to play. Every other time has been at least 20+ for queue.
You know that’s fake right? That has existed even when FFXIV had lower sub numbers, it’s always 5-20 people in queue and two seconds later you’re in or if you retry you go in instantly. I imagine it has something to do with the way their login servers process things.
I do not. I’m so close to the end of the MSQ (my red mage is level 80 and my MSQ level is 79) and since it’s so cutscene and dialog heavy I’ve been going solo. I do plan on finding an FC as soon as my MSQ journey is done. I asked about finding an FC on the forums and was told the Lodestone website has a community finder. I checked it out and you can select your server and browse recruiting FCs.
Much like everyone else here–can’t play during work, but I can go on these forums. If we recently didn’t add reddit to the block I’d be there. But here I am.
No because of the reasons I mentioned. FFXIV fans have made threads about this before as well. It’s just a simple thing that’s been around for as long as I can remember, again, I think it has something to do with how their login server works to keep things stable.
The only time you’ll see a real queue that is not this standard 5-20 without deviation is on an expansion launch when everyone tries to login at the same time or now that I think about it you’ll probably see one if you’re late logging in during a new housing patch as well because those are limited and a lot of people try to get a plot and if you don’t log in the second it’s available you get in a queue.
Also, lol, “hateful narrative” that smells of someone unable to accept criticism.
Honestly, yes, its getting annoying. This is coming from someone who will be playing it sometime soon.
Look its a decent game, and yes its on the rise while another is in a long decline.
While the threads are annoying and low quality, the non stop bumping by wow super fans telling everyone posting in those threads to leave the game forever, is just about as obnoxious and far more toxic.
I do hope the developers are taking notice as to what people keep refering to as reasons why they like that game more or would rather be there. There are LOTS of very obvious and valid reason that blizzard should be taking note of and acting to remedy like right now not in 3 expansions. There is real damage being done to the community as many do really like the game.
Just wait until like october when that next expansion will be a month away, its going to get bad here.
Im fine with people suggesting you try another game, heck i play just about all the still alive old mmorpgs and like most of them about the same but for different reasons.
