OP I’m getting annoyed with any thread in the WoW forums that has the words Final Fantasy in it .

So on behalf of others in the forum . THank you for being another annoying jerk to make a Final Fantasy thread.

May you get never ending heat rash in the worst possible spot for making this thread.

I’d say it’s getting more than the love it deserves, its fans are rabid like 80% of the time when met with criticism. They even defend questionable choices and worrying signs, like how they constantly use budget and engine limitations as a reason not to do something. Why would such a succesful MMO need to delete a type of gear (belts) just to make a little more inventory space? why are so many of its systems lacking compared to the other MMO’s? Why can’t they add full races and only go halfway alongside them not being able to wear hats?

Why are the mounts so ungodly expensive on their cash shop? Why is it okay for them to have a cash shop but other MMO’s not?

All these things and more FF14 fans defend hardcore.

Oh trust me anyone in the forums that has seem me post , knows I am very critical of Blizz .

However all of these constant Final Fantasy threads here in the WoW forums are just flat out spam and should either be moved to off topic or actually put into the 404 bin .

People want to come in here and complain about WoW fine . Say what you don’t like and maybe throw out some ideas of what you might think would help the game.

Because if you just hate the game then don’t post in here saying another game is better, just quit WoW and play the other game instead.

I don’t know, why such a successful MMO would need to delete a very robust talent systems in favor of a much more dumbed down talent row system.

It doesn’t really bother me how often people talk about FFXIV. I personally know I hate that MMO with a burning passion. Not because of their fans, the hype from streamers, posters or anyone else, but because I think that it just sucks all around.

The gameplay is very boring. The combat system is even worse. Most of the abilities are boring and have a long global cooldown. The combat isn’t smooth feeling like it is in WoW. It has this very clunky and slow plodding feel to it.

To me, the awful combat system is a total deal breaker for me.

I’ve listed a huge array of reasons why I dislike FFXIV in many other posts, but it’s not because of the FFXIV spam on here or their fanboys. I dislike it because I find it to be mundane, clunky and uninteresting on every level.

If you enjoy it, have fun.

I’d see it a lot in FFXIV’s forums too, or just about any game genre where there’s two game franchises at the top or consoles, or cars, or sports teams.

It’s human nature boiled down to it’s most annoying traits. I wouldn’t mind it so much except everyone has to eat their own words every few months when things shift and they have to find something new to invest their time/money in and nobody will ever call these dopes out on it.

from what I’ve heard FF is best for bad players. Because calling them out for playing badly is against ToS

If the game offers you more content than WoW how is it subjective when that’s a given fact? That is, by definition, objective.

To a degree, it depends if you’re basing it on their DPS since using 3rd party parsers is against the TOS.

Which I find hilarious cause raids in FFXIV have worse DPS checks than I’ve experienced in any MMO, a lot of that comes down to the lackluster gear itemization, no passive bonuses or proc’d abilities on gear, just raw numbers and perfectly executed rotations.

If you lack the numbers, you just don’t win. Ion would love it. It’s how he got hired in the first place, being a number cruncher.

WoW has 4 Stats and every piece of gear has 2 of them…
FOUR… STATS…

If MultiBillionDollar company can’t get up while being kicked… that’s a bigger issue.

If the meta believes it’s true… it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not.

New patch made this a lot better. They listened to player feedback and gave them what they wanted. I mean… players didn’t like this… so they fixed it, and now it’s better.
