I’m starting to see Brokenwind’s point. You want to argue just to argue. And I’m not sure why you’re attacking those who want an earlier version of AV. You may accept and enjoy the 1.12 version. That’s fine. Some of us would prefer an earlier one. What is this incessant need you have to shut those people down?
Do you know why we aren’t getting it? Because it no longer exists.
What I’m trying to do is to get you to stop pining for what is now a fantasy and start looking forward to the other 99.9999999999999999% of the game.

I gotta be honest lad that is being dismissive. Just technically speaking. The main point being of the choice of AV, saying it is a minor part does not disqualify the fact that it is a part that many would prefer be done the other way.
That said while I agree 1.12 AV isn’t going to scare me away by any means I much prefer 1.5 AV and would rathe rput up a set of points and debate and make sure Blizzard knows the overall community preference rather than settle and say “Okay well I wanted the other but whatever”. I am not as broken hearted as our tauren friend here I’ll easily say that, pun intended.

Still, I’m unsure why you put so much effort in stopping people from expressing an opinion. There’s threads about pre 1.11 threat generation. There’s a thread about 8 debuff slots. I don’t personally care much about either issue. But I’m not in those threads telling everyone to shut up and drop it. They’re free to ask for an earlier version of those things. And I wish them luck.

Telling people that want 1.12 AV they can get that experience on BfA is a lie. Why else would you keep repeating this lie if not your desire to keep arguments going?

I mean I do understand that there is a chance of this being so based on a statement from Blizzcon about the way patching worked causing a loss of data yes, but they said “some data” and did not specify in that situation.

I think I’ve both acknowledged and agreed with that statement. That doesn’t change the reality of what AV is. It’s a “nice to have”, not a “need to have”. And yes, people can and should choose to play the game based on their own rationale, but it’s a stupid rationale to ditch on an entire game because “a” BG isn’t exactly perfect. If that’s all you want Classic for, you’re playing the wrong game anyway for the wrong reasons anyway.
Not to mention this is flogging a dead horse. From what I understand, Blizz couldn’t do this if they wanted to.

Well, I never said that people didn’t want the old AV.
