Fact remains it’s easily zergable, and that’s what it’ll be in Classic if the devs go with the 1.12 version.

Well, I’ve done a handful of AVs in the past few years, so I’ll grant you that. However, I’ve done probably a few hundred AVs (1.12 and beyond) in my time, and I’d say roughly 95% of them were killing the enemy general, not running the other team out of resources.
So I’m not sure what your point is. Pugs zerg the bg nearly every single time. And they’ll do it in 1.12 AV, because they can. Did you not see what they did in the video? They kite the mobs out of the room, aggro Vann, reset the other npcs who don’t assist him and burn him to the ground. That’s 1.12 AV. It’s even easier to zerg than Current WoW’s AV.
Resources were not in AV in 1.12, actually they weren’t added till late in BC. So that’s a non issue.
Well yeah, of course 1.12 AV is easier to zerg the general than BfA AV; 1.5 AV would be easier to zerg than BfA AV too.
Unless your entire group is in greens, which isn’t going to be the case considering AV will likely be released months down the Classic road.
Mogar is a particular kind of troll. He ignores facts and won’t even consider acknowledging them until multiple people come forward to call him out. It happened with the water fiasco, where he claimed you couldn’t see through any of the water in Vanilla and it’s happening now with him claiming you can just zerg the general in BfA AV.

I’m not dismissive of wanting it, I wanted it too. I’m dismissive of this incessant moan that classic is dead because one BG isn’t 100% to your liking.
As I said, I wanted the old school AV, but I’m not going to pull my hair out and shriek myself hoarse because we aren’t getting it. Why? Because it’s a very small part of the game. People wanted Classic because it brings back the essence of what made WoW so great. Yes, it sucks that AV isn’t going to be what we hoped, but that won’t change why we wanted Classic.
And please, don’t try to blow me off on the basis of some BS pseudo psychology. Either argue the point or stay silent.

Dude, THIS is you being dismissive. You have been told quite clearly that AV was a huge part of many players endgames. You continue to handwave it away as “.0000000001%” and “small part of the game”.
If you have nothing to add beyond your derision toward people who care deeply about this then you are no better than the lowlifes who built and cheered on the wall of no.

No, I’ve been told it’s a large part of YOUR “endgame”. And again, if that’s all you want from classic, well, I guess you had best look elsewhere. Most of us were looking for something other than a 2 day BG.
And foir the record, regardless of how you want to spin it, it IS a small part of the game. In terms of pvp, in terms of gear, in terms of scale in terms of anything.

So you’re looking for the same AV experience you can get in BfA? See, now I think that’s contrary to what Blizz should be doing with Classic. It’s a far better business decision to offer something radically different.
