They aren’t. Blizz is shuffling ques if you try to sync. I know tons of people in the Discords and am in one myself, and Alliance is basically dumping AV entirely.

I see. I haven’t actually tried any premade channels yet to see what other’s experiences are. I did notice this morning that Alliance AV q’s have been between 2-3 min. I’d hate to see what Horde Q times have become, lol.
But it’s possible not everyone has logged in yet, and waiting for Rank updates before jumping in. /shrug
It’s the general mindset of the player that’s attracted to the faction. It’s not racials, or any other supposed crutch and it’s not going to change. The people that want a fight will go horde and the people that do everything in their power to avoid the fight will go alliance. I saw it so many times in AV, the alliance pug zerg running right by their teammates that get cheapshotted or slowed not bothering to help. Let an alliance player pull that on one of us and they will get swarmed and killed with the quickness.
I’m holding in pattern right now too. Like you I haven’t seen my honor/rank update/reset for the week yet and the ques are not insta but it is early.
Funny. I was told this would do nothing to stop premades. Now Allies are QQ’ing they can’t premade.
So which is it?
To me that sounds like the fix is working, at least somewhat. The dirtiest trick the premades played was causing a bunch of AV’s to spawn to flush the queues to get one all to themselves. This is why you had so many 10 vs 40 games. The couple minute alliance queues hints that premades aren’t flushing queues anymore and the system is working as intended.
I don’t believe the 2 min queue times has anything to do with reduced alliance participation as some have suggested.

A lot of alliance players are allergic to PvP. These crybabies were outraged about our premades but at the same time, they didn’t mind if they lucked into one of our games. Now they’re in a for rude awakening when they’ll continue to lose more games with zero premades while the rest of us will now be in WSG with our premades. Good luck in AV with your 60 mount and blues/greens, you’re in for a REAL treat now.

Look, you think you are taking your ball and going home… you are desperate to believe that… but no one cares. Alliance premades were causing all the pugs to start games outnumbered. We are glad you are gone, if you permanently go to WSG it’s a victory for alliance everywhere.
I am sorry if finding out the world doesn’t revolve around you is humbling.

I think you hit it right on the head. The insta ques were happening largely because of the premades. Also if Alliance participation went down, we should actually see faster ques according to the logic that we see on the forums because less people in faction = faster que times.

The thing is many more people can now have a premade if they want with friends from their own server. This is a GREAT change.

I think someone else in another post made a good point. The extra Q time may be because the system is trying to sort out minimal players required to actually join in the game before starting the AV. Every game that I enter so far has at least 20 players in it before the timer starts ticking for the gate to open.
So if premades are still holding the Q, and/or dropping, I can see that affecting Q times in this way.
This is also assuming there’s no artificial timer added by Blizzard.

Why exactly do you think that Alliance who have been practicing riding their mounts and PVEing Drek the past weeks are going to dominate a horde faction in WSG with better pvp racials and with more dedicated pvpers who have actually been pvping (or trying to) in AV the past weeks?
