Is Blizz going to address the bigger problem here? All the botting and cheating going on. This game has gotten so toxic so fast
Where does Blizzard say that?
They don’t need to say it. If 5 people is the maximum amount of players that can queue together, im fairly sure thats what blizzard is implying.
Heartseeker, Earthfury, Deviate Delight and Arcanite Reaper are all PVP servers with a notable Alliance dominance.
Even on Heartseeker horde farms alliance on popular spots like BRD or Chillwind between queues, because all alliance 60s are in the cities queuing, and the ones in the world are just running to the dungeons.
Meta gaming ruined PvP servers.
One could argue they were fine with premades by showing all the AV numbers. This is no longer the case. Attempting to get more than 5 in a group now should be considered queue exploitation.
4 out of how many PVP servers total? Now look at the faction balance on the majority of PVE servers. The fact is the majority of Alliance do NOT want to PVP.
I don’t disagree with that, at all.
you say that like it’s a problem. This is why I switched back Hordeside.
So on an Alliance-dominated server, Horde dominate in the world because not enough Alliance players in Classic want to PVP? How do you fix the problem of Alliance players not wanting to PVP?
The ones that are into PVP are PVPing. He just said that. There in the cities Qing. There not going to want to leave the instant BG Q to spend time flying to BRD to save some level 50s getting non-stopped ganked.
Why for the love of Zeus’s but hole does everyone not understand its the faction balance issue. Give incentives to have more people on the alliance side. THAT IS the fix.
And that’s when you cancel your resurrect over and over.
Yes, because I play a BG to not play it. /s
In the scenario you described, you’re being camped in the friggin starting cave. I, for one, would rather not give them the satisfaction and incentivize them to just finish the game so I can move on to the next one.
I would rather that Blizzard fixed these degenerate situations so they didn’t occur. To get in a BG and then not be able to play it would stop me from ever entering it again.
Yeah it’s something that can happen once in a while, but until Blizz actually did something about, canceling my rez is something I can do in the meantime, should the situation arise.
We need to make the bg number in the API protected. Addons are calling the bg number from the backend. It is also still in the pvp ui - if a team all click ‘join av 3’ - the pop will still show AV #3.
Premade teams on OCE realms are still popping an AV q with the sole intention of leaving it - this gets rid of the few pugs affecting their full 40 man premades. Those few pugs games wont end due to not enough players but sit waiting to fill before starting - the issue being the pugs are split across multiple empty bg’s and cant merge - this ‘fix’ needs work.
You guys better get rid of ANY WAY to identify which AV it is. Any identification that players can detect MUST be taken out. I just logged on and the interface is the same. I still see AV#s.
LOL I knew Blizzard would mess this up somehow… They didn’t change anything with the numbers.
They did, but completely opposite from what they said they would. They said they’d remove numbers from “Join Battle” screen, which is the battle master screen. However, they didn’t do that, instead they removed the number from the “Enter Battle” popup.
This does change things a bit. But I think premades are adapting in some form. You can still see new AV#s that popup and can still choose which one you want to Q into.
