If you are Alliance, you’re win rate won’t change much. All the 40 will do is further prolong the slow, grinding, backpeddling loss.
Good, that is a drastic improvement over losing in 5 minutes
with 4 out of the 9 in the BG being AFK and auto hopping in the tunnel
Once you get used to having 40 Alliance and thinking it’s great, you will start wonder why you can’t win even occasionally …and killing very few of the honor NPC’s and getting 1 mark of honor for each loss means a very slow boat to Exalted.

Horde just drinks Haste (or Haste Trinkets) + Fap potions like leeches.
But you know what, that is not actually bad in and of itself. Because WSG is not about kills, it is about Tactics.
If you want kills, by all means, play AV.

Its how organized premades play wsg. Alliance have the advantage of a pally using bof x2 to cross the field while your fap is on cooldown.
What kills in av? The alliance just ride straight past and im lucky to catch a straggler. Unless we have a decent recall defense we get some kills - but the high ranking players all afk out and we get a game filled with low random pugs.
I am sorry, but unless I am playing Against people using Hacks, this is exactly how horde plays too that FAP potion lasts from our flag room to your tunnel.
Yeah, i’ll give you this one. I forgot they put in the Dumped down version of AV. But if you can manage a defense with your side in AV you can stop Alliance on their tracks you know. And push to Alliance base fighting it.
I made sure i did this very thing every single game in the grind to exalted. Had a few premades afk out - got stomped by a few aswell. Those poor alliance pugs starting with 10 just made the game completly unfun - i havent been in av in weeks now.
It lasts 30 secs. If the use the speed boots and pop it in the tun then sure. BVut having a paladin sitting on the tree stump in the mid, out of los unless you know where to stand/climb, to cast a bof on an alliance druid will ensure they cant be stopped all the way to the flag cap.
Hopefully this will be addressed with the upcoming changes.
Yeah maybe, I suppose some premades will opt for this tactic. But it is a tactic making use of what is available. There is another thread here speaking of Horde Racials etc. And the argument is “make use of what you have to the best of your ability”.
And it cannot be on all games either. And you can also use similar using right combinations of trinkets skills and potions instead. It is Classic, it was not originally designed to be equal on both sides with just different looks.
Of course we do miss Arathi yet too. I think once Arathi is in things will normalize

WSG was a better game on K1 where the stumps blocked LoS.
It had a positive effect on positioning gameplay as well as class balance when ranged classes and healers weren’t murdering people and healing them through unpathable objects.
The dynamic was subtly different but obviously superior.
Even the 2nd floor base walls don’t prevent the casting of spells and abilities…

You really need to be delusional or naive to believe premade groups are “the good alliance”. Just because you choose to hide/group up/play with some elitist/no-life/teenagers is not making most of you “good players”.
Trust me on this you left out all real good players with AFK leechers, bots and outnumbered and give other players no chance to win. I am actually sad to be group up such as you people again.
Maybe games started with 5-10 players and if we eliminate all AFKs and bots the rest was people with honor, dedication and passion for this game unlike you who wants everything fast, easy and efficient.
