Alterac Valley Adjustments Incoming

Don’t seem to recall that myself

We can go back and forth all night but in the end all of these adjustments in any phase can be skewed as what benefits who however you want

Early BGs were cool for both factions. These adjustments may benefit the majority of people playing.

I guess we’ll see in a few weeks. If your queues go down, it means in general more Alliance see these changes as a good thing and are going to do more AV. If they go up, well, at least Horde can’t say they didn’t ask for it this time.

But this is a hypothetical and it Isn’t the case at all. currently there are over 2:1 horde to alliance on my server. If it was close to 1:1 I wouldn’t be on here b*tching about server balance but that is not the case. right now server imbalance mixed with Xrealm BG’s are causing the horde to have an even larger impact on world pvp due to horde having large queues and trying to pad their numbers with world pvp. The alliance pvp’rs are sitting in town doing AV all day. Faction imbalance is ruining the actual game outside of pvp.

And you can prove this?

prove which part? that horde have long queues? that my server is imbalanced? which part ironforge.pro for server sizes
long queues? ask a horde what their queue times are.
talk to horde about what they do when they are trying to rank in between queues. its pretty simple to see

This has nothing to do with faction balance. This just shows more horde are participating in pvp than alliance.

Can you prove this? From an official source, not some website that reads player gathered data which isn’t reliable and accurate?

Again irrelevant.

And again due to more horde being interested in PvP than alliance.

You really think that player collected metrics are completely unreliable? gathered from multiple guilds and multiple servers? sounds like someone in denial

I see Hordie celebrating.
How will this help your 50 minute queue times pray tell?

We’re in an old game, 15 years ago, a museum piece. The honor system is terrible everyone knows this. This archaic design that everyone’s trying to game is your own fault for playing that long. No one else’s problem. IT’S YOURS.

Forcing people to do anything is bad business, thats why they gave an avenue to escape it, even if it creates even more lopesidedness. Those who took it already had enough of what was pretty common knowledge what was gonna happen on PvP realms.

No one is pandering to anyone, you had options, you didn’t take it, now you’re blaming them for not taking that advantage.

Doesn’t matter to me, I’m not the one crying about faction imbalance and queues don’t affect me in any way whatsoever.

Kinda like alliance bragging/celebrating about stomping horde as a premade since they began?

You keep saying I should of known but I did not. I instead expected that blizzard would actually manage their game and attempt to balance something that was called PVP in at least some semblance of the manner. The out costs money for what looks to me a problem caused by blizzards own ineptitude. It is blizzards job to balance their game and that includes population of factions.

Server transfers should be used to move based on wanting to play with friends and the like not get away from imbalanced problems with the server that is just ridiculous

This is nothing like how PvP was in Vanilla. Don’t even try to compare the two.

One was PvP, one is calculated honor farming using broken add-ons to notify you that there is another 400 honor to be had at the expense of 10-20 minutes of someone else’s time. And the once you finally move on, there’s another 3-4 horde doing the exact same thing.

Honestly, it’s like some people are oblivious to what’s actually happening in this game and don’t understand why most Alliance have quit by now.

Yeah no, it’s not just that more horde are interested in PvP.

I can tell by this post you have no idea what it’s like to be on the other side of it all.

How do I know? I STILL see 3-4 horde for every 1 alliance in the world and have to give myself an extra 25-40 minutes to get to most dungeons.

Seriously. Try playing an alliance on a high pop PvP server.

But you probably won’t because you, like the majority of other players like to take the easy route.

If that is the case, aren’t you nervous being a cute little gnome with that name?

Great.

I’m glad to see that you have an intelligent point to add to this conversation.

Thanks for stopping by in-between your BG queue.

These things effect the quality of life of everyone that plays. Sorry if you don’t see that.

you’re right its not, wanna know why? servers are 4x larger than the ones in back then. So now, with all the knowledge we have 15 years later, and the statistics from retail, what do you think was going to happen?

The only oblivious one is you, for not seeing what was going to happen, then choosing to play alliance, not free transfering off, then complain. :man_facepalming:

On second thought, don’t. Unless you want to be an uber guerrilla warrior and stream your exploits (after a suitable delay, lol). Which I would pay to see someone do.

Otherwise…simplest route is probably to pull out that $35 to go PvE.

… your solution is to literally not play one faction or just transfer to already imbalanced servers?

Do you even hear yourself?
