You say that like they didn’t offer BGs months early likely because of P2 complaints by Alliance players
Awww the poor alliance can’t 40 man zerg anymore and waste horde’s time awwww. They gotta play the bg the right way awwww, I’m so sorry guys, you had a good run, but yikes you gotta actually play now and it doesn’t look good for ya ladies and gents. xD
They did nothing to stop FP abuse, as it’s still happening- and while they may have stopped safe spotting in goblin towns, they didn’t stop it anywhere else- including inside Ironforge where you can do it literally everywhere since the ledges go around the entire city. So if they didn’t like it- they sure didn’t make changes to show it.
Or they saw the subs deteriorate suddenly and massively- if there’s anything that gets Blizz moving, it’s losing a lot of money very quickly.
You don’t think that’s beneficial to Horde, as we come out of a month of Horde complaining about growing queue times? You think it’d be better if your queues were twice as long, three times as long?
And please look at the original Vanilla release schedule- BGs came out only 2 months after the honour system. April 8, and June 7. Two months- if they ended the world honour phase ‘months early’ as Horde seem to like touting, then they would have to have ended it day one.
On the other hand, they put out the honour system months earlier- it should have come out at the start of January, with BGs at the start of March. Is that what you would have preferred? I’d have been OK with that, since it would have given casuals a lot more time to get to 60.
Tell me more how horde can queue up and all get in the same AV, when queues are 54 minutes long. Tell me how we can get a set group of healers, Tanks, Mages, and rogues and all get in the same AV at the same time? What happens when majority of the queues don’t line up, you want us to all drop queue? Or wait you want us to randomly queues, and join a discord channel with our current AV game, because every single horde that does BGs is on a magical horde premade discord right? Do you know how stupid you sound?
then lets put you on the alliance side where you cant quest in the open world due to horde roaming everywhere and call that fun for you. its just PVP happening on a PVP server after all if its no big deal join the alliance
You chose a pvp server, knowing the consequence of rolling on one. Given data on previous PVP realms, most were lopsided and most were horde. You should of used that knowledge to choose NOT roll an alliance character on a pvp realm.
Stop blaming others for your own decision.
Right since no one is supposed to roll alliance on a pvp server. Blizzard is supposed to do nothing about balance. Unless it favors horde at least.
My point still stands, complaints either verbally or by less subs, still there was something done
Honor released Nov 14, BGs Dec 12. Instead of 2 months, ok, a month early. Still early.
Faction populations are about the same, skewing towards alliance. Look it up. Problem is more horde than alliance pvp.
No ones fault except the playerbase, and blizzard forcing change isn’t going to happen.
then pvp servers will die alliance will leave on exodus it is not fun and blizzard will then have to merge “dead” servers which they could of remedied
Most PvP servers did die, because one side was so over encumbered. That’s why warmode is on retail now.
And guess whom the dominate faction is still? That’s right, It’s horde.
Then why don’t they do something to, I dunno, try to stop this heavy imbalance by enabling faction based queues capping the amount of people allowed to be logged in based on the size of the opposing faction? If they did this balance would be great everyone would have good queue times for pvp and then servers won’t die to being completely one sided.
They could offer faction changes to those who are stuck in queue for free.
They could offer server change to those who don’t want to stay in queue.
Or you could wait for a spot to open so you could play as the horde you all just wanted to.
And the honour system was about two months early. Since it’s pretty clear wpvp was in Horde’s favour- that’s months early for the Horde on that, and one month early for the Alliance on BGs.
A month advantage for Horde there would make it a Horde bias, not an Alliance one. If we want to go with BGs being something Blizz did for the Alliance, I guess Horde don’t like them because they have even numbers?
And in phase 1, Horde were complaining about the honour system not being out yet and having nothing to do, threatening to quit, etc… and Blizz brought it out months early.
You still get an inactive buff if reported afk
but they just hop around and cast bandaid/heal occasionally
How would you like if I took your money for a service i provide, has this massive amount of content, then force you to do some of that content that doesnt appeal to you.
That’s basically what you are telling others. That’s terrible business.
and its not terrible business to have a service but have people unable to play due to imbalance? It literally took me 6 hours to complete 1 simple kill quest in burning steppes the other day on my lock due to the faction imbalance. Is that fair for me or the other alliance on my server?
So you mean the majority of players.
Yea, them
How dare they
Man, this is actually great for the PvP meta.
Instead of destroying Horde in AV in 7 minutes we’ll get to destroy Horde in WSG in 6 minutes.
The best part? Horde’s PvP meta will still be AV, but their queue times are going to double. And if you think appreciating Horde suffering is wrong, remember what they said on the forums during P2.
You mean like spam AV/WSG for 16h/day in order to rank?
You know what most businesses that offer some sort of sport, gaming, competitive environment do? Make sure to the best of their ability that the teams are even both in numbers and skill.
Blizz throws premades against pugs, and has allowed or if you look at their disasterous use of free xfers early on, assisted the creation of massive faction imbalance that has killed multiple pvp servers so far.
Sounds like terrible business to me.
Or what about making the game so badly balanced that one side has every advantage, and then suddenly one day making a bunch of rule changes solely to ensure the faction that already has every advantage now has even more?
Sound like a good business to you? Of course it does- because you’re on the side the business is pandering to, and you’re incapable of imagining it from the other perspective.
