Alterac Valley Adjustments Incoming

Hell will freeze over twice before we get that in Classic. Hope I’m wrong!

the horde are in their original spawn. GBTR if you want the cave moved to where it is there.

HARD YES. Especially the Horde cave.

Is that all it takes? I’m pocketing all the snow from AV and going to Hell!

1 VS 40 should close.
i have landed in a number of sub 10 vs 40
and as soon as someone quit dropping us under i think 7, the BG ended instantly, every time.

The cause of this is people dropping queue massively to get their premades in, go yell at those people, basically they were in your BG, BG said ok, we start, and then they dropped.

They are, or do you mean move them to that earlier AV when their cave was much much closer? like mid field almost?
I’m sure the horde would not mind that too awfully much?

Yea, it does feel like Blizzard are pandering to Horde a bit here. Ultimately I don’t care if they’re going to make changes to tame down premades; however, there is a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth because when it was really bad for Alliance facing Horde premades, Blizzard had nothing to say. So Alliance had to bear the brunt of Horde premades for an entire expansion in retail, which gets changes all the time, but a month of Horde facing Alliance premades gets a change in Classic, which isn’t supposed to get any changes? Odd choice…

There is also a part of me who has seen the state of Alliance PuGs and just doesn’t want to bother to set foot in AV again. I didn’t premade to win (in fact, we only won maybe 50% of our games anyway), I just wanted to play with people who actually gave a crap.

Anyway, those are just my feelings.

Its original cave is the one at the very back of the map.

Sure, if it comes with the full on AQ40ish rest of AV
The one where if you zerg the boss with out doing the objectives,
the boss enjoys his mega buff and bashes face

I mean, yeah. If Horde want fairness and equality in AV then their cave should be moved back so that both sides meet in the middle of the field at the same time instead of near Balinda.

RIP #nochanges and RIP my subscription. It wasn’t exactly unexpected, but it’s still disappointing.

It’s not the content of the changes, it’s the fact there are non-Vanilla changes, blatantly for the first time. There is no ambiguity now, and the writing is on the wall.

Enjoy all! It was really a great run while it lasted.

well thats neat

They’re not going to do anything that hurts Horde’s advantages in this game… That should be obvious to anyone now.

Blizzard developers don’t yell “For the alliance” and blizcons for a reason. They do yell For the horde.

But there is no non vanilla change here
In vanilla, initially AV had no queue numbers
During vanilla, once you could queue AV as a group

Horde do NOT want this change and they were NOT the ones complaining the most. It was Ally puggers getting screwed by the Premade Droppers.

LOL. This just means your AV queues will be even longer, because so fewer alliance will even bother with AV.

No sense in bringing retail talk into Classic. It’s irrelevant. As far as premades go, Blizzard did this because it was harming the MAJORITY of Alliance players in AV. It’s really that simple. And this is why they are not going to tolerate people trying to continue and game this system. Maybe the next step is to start slapping on sanctions like suspensions and prema bans for gross TOS violators like the ones exchanging real money.

In fact, these changes make it more like vanilla.
If you’re a “It Must Be 1.12” #nochanger, then they’re changing something back to what it should be.

I’m not sure you can make this conclusion. With party grouping being implemented, and with there obviously being the interest of both sides wanting to group into AVs, I see Pugs really utilizing this.

The hard core AV premades that do 7-9min Drek rushes were actually just a small group of people, compared to all the Premades that were availble. While that hard core group may find other ways of getting their Ranks the rest of the premades aren’t going to stop playing just because of these changes.

Most of them joined premades because it was better than starting the game with 10v40 with absolutely no way of winning, not because that was the only way they’ll play AVs. AV will still be the best Honor farm for the average player. Not to mention, many still want Rep.
