If both factions completely ignore each other the horde can reach the alliance base faster. It’s hard to measure it out because someone is most definitely going to mess with you on the way, but I swear it’s true.

I wouldn’t want to guess on win rates because there are so many things that can happen, but I can say it’s super demoralizing to have SH flipped and horde attacking Balinda while you are still a long ways off from the first tower or boss in horde territory.

On top of all of that, PvP happens on PvP servers. I play Heartseeker Horde and know that well.

This was an obvious exploit that has been resolved, and hurt Alliance way way more than Horde.

Horde still won over half their games, and according to everyone in this thread premades are the only reason we don’t have 2 hour queues that we’re doomed to now.

What if Blizzard made a new BG to combat the new faction imbalance in Classic? It could be an asymmetric battleground, where Alliance start with, say, maybe 50 people defending an area. Then the Horde get to have 100 to attack. And they attack. What do you guys think? Any thoughts? Let me know some suggestions. I

Bare with me here… but what if Alliance queued for the BG that was always meant to queue premades? The one that you can’t afk in and win.

Enough to compensate for having to actually kill the elite and non elite mobs that all chain pull in the entire base and stack with the archers in bunkers that have been attacking since halfway across the bridge until the GY and GY guards?

The mobs Ally can literally run by since they are in a completely different layer of the base. The tower archers that can’t hit you when capping the GY in the Ally base or when you first enter.

Let’s say it accounts for 2/3rds of all the Ally wins. Meaning this change would account for a 60% drop in Alliance wins. That still leaves Ally with a 30% wr. Assuming that the start distance is literally entirely game breaking.

With the timing of this as well, Ally can always go in and wipe Horde at Bal since they would be fighting Lts and Bal when your raid rolls over.

That past you speak of had this same system. Repeat kills doesn’t change the meta.
