But… it’s literally not. The horde entrance is like 500 yards closer. The horde can reach Balinda at the same time as alliance do. The horde can reach SH bunker BEFORE the alliance can. This problem had been masked by the abundance of NPC’s, but once they were removed it quickly became obvious what a massive oversight this was.
This version of AV did not last very long and IMO is the most imbalanced version of any AV iteration.
It amazes me how dumb some of the alliance here are thinking horde aren’t going to like these changes.
For once we agree on something- I find it hard to believe how there’s any Alliance that don’t realize this patch is solely to benefit the Horde and screw Alliance, typical Blizzard one sided bias showing.
No mention for the silent majority of Alliance who didn’t bother premading and getting screwed by the queue dodgers?
Allowing both sides to queue with up to 5 friends and hiding the AV# until inside is objectively fair. Sorry you got used to exploiting the system for an advantage, but that time is finally drawing to an end.
I’m telling you dude - these people aren’t all there Faction choice is about 50/50 by the law of large numbers (and might even give a slight advantage to Alliance since blue is the favorite color of almost a majority of the human population). What Alliance won’t admit is their SKILL and WILLINGNESS to participate in PVP as a FACTION is much lower than horde’s, especially when forced into a pug position and not being catered to be /RW’s and mic spam.
It’s common to die alot in the world (by the way, I died maybe 200 times by level 60s in strangle pre level 40 before honor was even out, and that was just in Strangle). These people blame it on faction imbalance or some other non-existent factor rather than just accepting that crap happens and you get ganked once in awhile. I don’t really agree that much with changing it to 10 in World PvP, but I don’t think Blizzard intended it or wants it to cause corpse camping like Allies are accusing them of - they likely want to rekindle stuff like Darkshore pvp. It gets really lame to be forced only into a BG to do any sort of non-gank pvp… especially now that neckbeards now control Azuregos on every server and aren’t sharing (which was the main source of world pvp after darkshore and other zones like EPL died a bit).
Correct. I wreck shop all day on horde, I take people down through the mass of pvp thirsty try hards before they finally kill me all day. I am not crying about wpvp, I am stating a fact that a lot of alliance will transfer to a server like yours leaving servers even more skewed.
I also do not have a tribal attitude to my faction, I play on both sides and can say from both perspectives that the majority of horde are pvp minded while the majority of alliance are stay at home moms.
I agree entirely, yet it isn’t possible for Horde to zerg to the Ally base as quickly as the Alliance can.
There are gives and takes in all the versions. Are you saying the adjustment of cave distance would cut the win rate by over half? How much so in your opinion?
This is the version I played a good deal in vanilla on Ally and basically always won.
I’m not lying. I think it’s pure hilarity that you think you’re smart but you’re stupidly using some false data to flame me. You’re not as smart as you think you are.
Yep, read up on it - genius. Choosing not to PVP on a pvp server doesn’t mean your faction is imbalanced - it means you shouldn’t have picked a PVP server.
I think you miss the point of what I’m saying. I’d like you to point out where I even said I couldn’t tell the difference. What I’m saying is that in classic the difference between the two is small and by saying “talented” you’re really just saying competent.
People are hoping that skill will become a factor for the ranking system in classic which will only leave them disappointed. Without an actual learning curve, skill means very little. If you are worried about how much skill is present in the ranking system maybe classic pvp isn’t for you.
