Already 470k Viewers for New World NA Servers Aren't UP Yet, How Will Blizz Respond

How? Because I think it’s interesting to think about how Blizzard will adapt WoW based on new games releasing? This is embarrassing for all of you, truly lol.

People have talked about Blizzard taking things from other games and making it their own for YEARS. It is almost always a positive talking point; and now it’s all of a sudden a bad thing? Give me a break.

They’ve had the last 15 years of MMORPG launches to adapt and they actually had to do little to nothing because those MMORPGs ended up dying. SWTOR, GW2, ESO, etc.

New World is like trying to compare Valheim to WoW without the things that made Valheim exciting to play. I just started playing Valheim again and it’s a blast.

Says the guy that switched to an alt to post in this dumpster fire.

Sounds like you’re a regular around here, wonder why you’re hiding? :face_with_monocle:

Once again, you can call me an alt all you like. Regardless, you’re ONCE AGAIN refusing to discuss the topic at hand and too focused on trying to insult other players. I’ll report your post again and move on.

Also, nice avoiding the post where I provided a direct quote from the OP for you. You didn’t come in this thread to discuss, you came to start trouble, as is usual with you.

Good luck with that cupcake lol

I’m waiting for Pantheon, I may be waiting forever but there’s some really unique features they’re working into that game. The environmental/weather effects that determine what type of gear you need to wear (ie there’s a snow storm, you might want to put on a
jacket type thing). It might turn out to be crap but at least they’re still cranking away even after Brad’s death.

Gameplay needs to be tight. Pvp needs to be good. Those are the two big things I read that most would be WoW usurpers get wrong. They can get a boatload of other things right but can’t seem to nail the first two.

But one day, somebody, somewhere, will nail it.

I don’t buy this for a second. I’d have more respect for you guys if you’d just admit you’re trolling.

I don’t really care what you buy or don’t buy. I said what I said.

It’s release day. Blizz is probably just watching the hype or better yet trying to keep their noses clean while they finish up converting all lewd imagery into fruit

I’d say that grabbing the low-hanging fruit joke should replace “slap in the face” as the forum’s drinking game, but I really don’t want to give myself alcohol poisoning.

My only experience with New World was falling asleep watching a YouTuber play it.

New World isn’t going to do too much damage to WoW for too long. People are obviously excited about it, and I’m happy to hear that they are, but he real test is in six months. New games can be exciting to play for sure, and many might think it’s the new best think. I thought that with GW2, that it would replace WoW for me when it came out, yet it died off pretty quickly once I got to the end game.

Leveling, the journey, all of that can be exciting and fun. But the journey isn’t forever, and eventually you have to get to a solid end game. Otherwise the game may as well be a temporary single player game, though really since it’s a pay once and play type game it could be played like that. It’ll just be interesting to see what’ll happen long term.

Even more interesting will be to see how it holds up to Endwalker. WoW doesn’t really have an answer to either New World or FF14 this year, and at this point they need to stop trying to compete. There’s a history of them releasing patches on the launch week of FF14 expansions, and they really need to more focus on launching patches when they’re good and ready. 9.1.5 won’t do much against these two big MMO releases, but only time will tell if Blizzard is going to be hit hard by them long term or not.

Either way, I don’t think there’s much more to be said, OP. This thread comes off far more as trolling, especially with the title. Go enjoy your new game, and spend your time better than trying to taunt another game and its community.

My question is, knowing Amazon. Is it pay to win?

It’s pay to play with no sub, so it will have to be microtransaction city to stay solvent.

People interested in a new product go to watch a livestream.

More at 11.

New World is for a different audience. It and Ashes will be what compete against each other.

WoW’s only direct competition is FF14.

This feels closer to reality.

I do have to hand it to New World though. I’ve been playing WoW for a while, and gotten hyped for a LOT of new MMOs. After watching some New World streams, it’s the single least hyped I’ve ever been for a new MMO and the least I’ve ever been interested in playing one.

So, grats on that achievement, Amazon.

Blizzard won’t respond because most companies don’t actually care how many people are viewing a stream of one person playing.
