Already 470k Viewers for New World NA Servers Aren't UP Yet, How Will Blizz Respond

I just don’t want to commit to another series of grinds. I mean unless it’s just super amazing. I’m gonna hold off.

A new competitor on the market is good for Blizz though. Maybe they’ll fight to keep us

That too. I’m sure it (probably?) gets better at higher levels, but it seems like grind is New World’s middle name.

Speaking of, Asmongold is playing it. So of course the viewership is high.

Now don’t get me wrong, it is indicative of general interest. Though is that interest in seeing the game itself, seeing the streamer, a mix of the two, or perhaps people aren’t ready to spend their money and need to watch more of it.

Yeah, I don’t think there’s cause for concern just yet. We’ll see once it’s no longer new.

Hahahahahaha…

Okay.

I tried out ESO for awhile. WoWs selling point is not graphics nor story, but I like the way the game is organized.

The roles make sense. The transition from content to content is easy to manage. I just don’t have the patience to relearn a whole new system when there are too many rote memory skills bulit into my toon now

The biggest tell would be if they get rid of systemcraft for the next expansion and made it so you get meaningful rewards from the “grinds” again.

Classic had nearly 1million , Wildstar had 2 millions , Apex had nearly 40 million worldwide thanks to pewdiepie I believe , it was so dam popular that EA did not know what to do to capitalize on it .

I will repeat what I said with Bless online / Wildstar again .

You do not judge the success of an MMO in the first week but after the first 6 months.

Blizz dont need to change anything. Softies should have an option to leave WoW as I dont want WoW to become soft.

All these softies just criticize some awful trivial stuffs like “I dont like /spit” and “I dont like Night Elf dance”.

Softies dont want Toxic stuffs. Competitive gaming is sometimes mistakenly regarded as toxic. It is not. Other MMO is not toxic becoz they are trivial… meaning, the Bosses die there even if you dont make an effort.

So stay away from WoW. WoW is dying since it’s first expansion. 16 years later, it is still dying. There is no such game as WoW killer. You would still see WoW for the next 10 years.

Considering Amazon runs the biggest server farms and data centers in the world, and they have horrendous login queues that would make WoW’s vanilla queues look quaint.
WoW will probably be all right.

I just watched a video on YouTube about New World and right off the bat I’m seeing undead and Ardeanweald armor rip offs. Lmao💀 Game is reaching.

I just have made topics that are good discussions that are usually highly upvoted but there are a few people that keep reporting them regardless. Instead of ignoring my threads they troll them instead and call me the troll. Funny how that works.

Either way my thread has now been restored for the 2nd time by a Mod because this thread should of never been flagged to begin with.

Exactly

With that said I finally got in am level 8 now learning the ropes, time to break for lunch. Really enjoy just chopping trees and gathering. Think the crafting looks top notch and learning the combat been awhile since no tab targeting. I prefer it though.

/Meanwhile looks at the Mixed reviews on Steam.

OP claimed a similar thing in his other thread and that thread got moved to Off-Topic.

And Blizzard reinforced that fact by moving his thread to off-topic, yes.

So you’re trying to silence people because they aren’t talking what you want to talk about. Yikes.

If you think that clunky combat system is going to be something to worry about you’re very wrong. It’s just another generic MMO. Everyone will be back.

People like to hate on the PVP in WoW but it is the best out of all the other MMO’s. New World will flatline very fast.

I’d love to play a new, GOOD MMO. Sadly…it’s never going to happen. Those days are over and no one would be willing to spend the capital and time necessary to make an amazing, modern MMORPG.

I don’t. Those games suck.

That game isn’t that good. But have fun with it.

I don’t see NW as competition. That’s like saying ArcheAge was once competition.

What’s a “viewer”?

Player or someone watching a stream? Need clarification!

Well, I really don’t, was just curious.

That’s not true. Any time a new game comes out, there’s a ton of people trashing it in general chat and saying how wow is way better.

Abom spamming advertisements for another game yet again

Wish they’d give them a perma vacation already

It’s a discussion thread so keep it about the topic.

For what? Obviously the mods disagree since they restored this thread 2 times so we can discuss it.

New World now has 900k Viewers while WoW is at 20k there doesn’t seem to be much interest in WoW anymore. Hopefully they start listening to player feedback here in the future.

Shiny new game has a lot of viewers at the start. More news at 11.
