If lust resets fire ele should also reset. The real cd is sated anyway

It only helps your raid team.
When Ulduar comes around and you and your raid team are waiting on Fire Ele to come off CD for hard mode progression, enjoy the wasted time.
It’s silly not to have this reset.

I do lol. It’s just the timing of it all. It would help for I think 2 bosses… but which glyph do you get rid of for it?

If bloodlust resets there is zero reason this shouldn’t reset. Shaman aren’t blowing it on trash so they should have a major CD available for each boss if we are doing “some changes”

In terms of dps cooldowns, it is on-par with a lot of other classes, adding about 15% of overall damage on a fight - yet, their cooldowns get to reset every fight. If a fight is below 2 minutes, shamans don’t even get higher benefit from using the totem as say a DK’s gargoyle.
Elemental shamans will barely be able to keep up with the other dps in later phases if they have a fire elemental every fight, let alone every other fight/attempt.
Reset it after an encounter in line with the other abilities.

Please make this change. It is really punishing to lose so much DPS on wipes or fast boss pulls.

Yeah, the change that was made does not make any sense when you have unholy DK gargoyles on crack.

I’ll be trying it out next reset, but you replace feral spirits. Keep FT and FN.

100% agree. Other CDs reset. It makes no sense why fire ele shouldn’t reset too. It just feels bad have to decide which fight I want to use fire ele on because it’s not off CD fast enough.

BIG BUMP. Absolutely unfair that we don’t have our Fire Ele reset. Such a big loss of dps when you can only have it once every 3rd boss. Shamans are struggling to stay viable outside of lust and somehow when the reset cooldowns change came, we don’t get this. We deserve our Fire Elemental cooldown to reset. PLEASE.

Please give us our fire elemental <3 It makes me sad when i dont have my emotional support elemental with me for a boss fight.
Humor aside its a big part of shaman dps and not having it reset like gargoyle and the like is really disheartening. A lot of raids have already limited shamans to 1 per raid as a lust bot, let us at least be able to use all of our dps abilities on every fight

This is best said. I t sucks not having your fire ele on all fights period. Ok with the previous comment of only allowing it if it’s glyphed but somehow having it reset after a boss fight like lust seems appropriate.
Seems inconsistent the raid heroism buff resets but fire ele doesn’t. Either make both reset or both not reset.
