Bumping because other classes can get a response about asking for a buff. We’re just asking to have a damage CD treated like the others 
Playing around fire elemental totem’s CD is a bit…….unpleasant. Boss fights are awesome when it is up, and can be lame when it is still on CD from the last boss you downed. Would appreciate a dev at least taking a peak at the issue/thread. Just need Blizzard to communicate to us their reasoning for why it needs to stay unchanged, or if the 10minute cooldown could be potentially updated/changed.

Please also consider buffing the attack range of searing totem beyond 20 yards or giving us totemic projection while we’re considering QOL changes to fire totems

Ulduar prog is going to be pretty painful with all these shamans, dks, and warlocks queueing wargames in between pull attempts to get their CDs to reset. Do the right thing Blizz.

Would love to have Fire ele on all bosss fights instead of having to plan out which ones I want to parse on each week.
Also, Ulduar progression is going to be painful as a shaman if we are holding back our eles for good pulls only.

Another day of raid, another day of not having the fire ele up for every other pull. Arbitrarily having your ability to compete taken away due to your 5 min cd not resetting but other people’s cd’s resetting is silly.

In the event that this is being discussed on some balance or change team before we get a response, I’d like to make the point that this does not materially impact class balance…it simply allows raids to avoid sitting on their hands between pulls. There is the option currently to wait an extra 60-90 seconds to get this up…and when we were trying out burn strats on Sarth 3D we did just that because our raid has 4 DPS Shaman.
It is the exact same reasoning that all of the other CDs reset (including, notably, Battle Res…which is a 10 min CD). Its an obstacle placed in the player’s way for no compelling reason, that can be overcome if you just inconvenience yourselves.

Fire Ele, Army of the dead, and infernal should all reset at the end of encounters. It would also be nice if FET benefited from the iconic shaman ability bloodlust as other pets do. I would take any QoL for shamans at this point, us ele players are going to need everything we can get. I could go on about how shaman should have a pet bar for the rock and fire ele but please just give us this little thing.

Yeah but if you start resetting 10min CDs on boss kills you’d give DKs Army every pull too
Reset infernal CD as well, 10 min CD can only use every few fights. Rito plz.
all of those abilities should be nerfed just enough that they aren’t really viable in raids frankly. The idea that you can just spam them willy nilly in every boss fight for those precious parses is just cringe and ruins the spirit of the characters combat style. In all 3 cases mind you.
They should take more abilities off this post-boss reset i feel. Not add to them. For those with skills and a desperate addiction to warcraft logs, dont worry, enhance shaman scales just fine.

Rebirth is a 10 min cd that resets. A battle rez is way more powerful than 1500 dps
