How many markers did you go through before they do if confirmed efficacy is reduced?

I’ve never understood why people are so vehemently opposed to this idea other than needing a digital outfit’s exclusivity be some means to lord over other people to make them feel better about themselves for having won it.
They’re literally ancient assets that people in this thread don’t seem to have touched until provoked to make some amalgamation of their illusion of achievement. Assets that if reintroduced in some manner that required players to “earn” it so the fomo Andy’s and Andinas won’t rage, could reinvigorate participation in PvP for the casual audience.
This only brings light to the issue of how terribly designed the reward structure is for PvP in the first place that’s just as archaic as the length of time most of the old mogs have been sitting in their wardrobe without use until this thread popped up and forum dwellers had to take screenshots of horrific combinations just to flaunt a reward that most of the game’s player base doesn’t even care about since PvP attracts maybe 10% of the player base if we’re lucky (as seen by the massive voting disparity in the tier sets currently happening).
I have some old elite sets. One from SL for my rogue, one from DF season 1 on my warrior. I personally couldn’t care less if someone now could get 1800-2100, win like 50 games and get a token to unlock it much like vicious saddles that literally no one complains about in terms of retroactive acquisition. If I saw someone using an old mog set and made a great outfit out of it but didn’t earn it during the time it was modern I wouldn’t care but only applaud them for being able to use it creatively. Hell, I haven’t even cared to use those mog sets as I prefer newer fashions or something I made myself as I’m sure a lot of you of you do too.
So why let a game mode’s rewards wither? Ego? Because that’s all I’m seeing here. Reinvigorate PvP’s rewards. Let people have things if they “earn” it by new measures and hopefully it draws new players to PvP. Endgame is transmog anyways.

Ok cool how about TL;DR: people are using old assets as a means to boost ego and it’s silly. Making more rewards available through some “earning” will bring more players/bring back old ones.
