Much like Mythic sets are available for solo runs 2 expansions back for those that werent able to get them while current, should open the doors to more mogs.
I think allowing availability of Elite sets going back 2 expansions would be a good compromise for mogging and uplifting participation in all forms of pvp involving the obtaining of conquest.
I disagree. The fact that they are temporary is what motivates me to obtain them and gives them their flair.
I enjoy grinding elite sets and weapons every season and appreciate the achievement.
If they were always available I wouldn’t care at all.
99.9% of cosmetics in the game are freely obtainable by just waiting a few months. It’s 100% okay to have to work for some things (even though I would REALLY like the one wod elite druid pvp set with the skull helmet)
Yeah but this would be like a 4 year wait before the current ones would be available, by then Id think youd have a nice current elite set that youd don and wouldnt really care about the old stuff yeah?
The recolored t6 elite sets in legion plus ones like the light blue geode shaman elite set were some of the best ever put out and they should stay rare
Never cared if people were later able to easily obtain sets that I had to get 1800/2k to obtain when they were current. It’s really not a big deal. I got to enjoy their exclusivity during the season and that’s enough for me. It’s not like it’s a super high bar demonstrating amazing skill so surprised by people’s objection. Also, originally (in BC/Wrath/cata) pvp gear with rating attached was later obtainable by all, so historically it was that way first.
Yeah, there’s a pretty significant gap between 20s or 2500 and r1. It’d be like if all pvp had was rival rewards then top 0.1% I guess they don’t wanna deal with riots of people playing slight variations of one comp near title range.
Indeed you will be wearing the badge forever except itll be the current contents to the previous expansions badges in my scenario since I have no doubt you and the others here will always continue to occupy the top of the ladder.
