Allied Races still locked is mind boggling

Look at the Night Elf face and then look at the Nightborne face, as well as the ears.

If you cannot see ANY kind of difference, you’re lost.

Look at Mag’Har Orc and Orc, see any difference other than skin color? I sure as hell don’t.

The face doesn’t matter. The body is the same, it’s the same model.

Not saying I don’t agree with you, but we don’t have the facts to prove this, so you probably shouldn’t say that.

The face doesn’t matter but that’s normally the only thing you see when you have all of this armor on.

This is only furthering my point that allied races are literally just reskins and the only unique ones are STILL delayed.

Its not the work, its the premise.

At least for the Legion based ones.

Its an old expac now. BFA has been out a while. And the allied races from legion are in BFA.

When a preorder it made sense. It was “new” content for legion now wrapping up. Stretch out that expac a bit more

BFA release, this was odd as BFA was out. Some wanted to play BFA. Not legion.

BFA is now a few months old. As time goes on the legion based play requirement gets odder.

Even odder is legion locked out of trial play. Make a 110 trial…you can only go to BFA. Unless you beg a mage to portal you to dalaran in general chats of find a guildmate to hook you up maybe.

Use a boost and voila the legion bag is now there for the dalaran stone.

See this crap has blizzard working harder to limit legion. time they could use to fix BFA. they burned time to stop trials going to legion to unlock races (alliance char frees the nightborne but needs a horde 110 to unlock them). they burn time to stealth nerf/balance pass legion gameplay. Its an old expac…they need to focus on BFA.

the caveat some would take here is legion based AR’s lose this. Legion AR’s as simple to get as, well BE when released. They were just there…

Leaves the BFA AR’s. they can keep rep need…till 9.0. When this game will do what it did to legion. Make its content irrelevant.

See the TL;DR here is some have issues with working older content as in the end its pointless.

I like it…but I am an OCD oddball. I will full bar and 3 star legion crafting skills/recipes on my 120’s. It means nothing…but I will do it. Thing is I won’t force this gameplay on others though.

Side note of I unlocked all the legion AR’s by hand too. I still see no point to it really. I see no reason why some new player who is playing wow for the first time today (we’ll make it their true first day even) has to at this point. they want a VE…let them have it day 1.

I mean…anything unique has to be. How quick do you think they can churn out brand new models?

They should be able to do so extremely quick.

We’re talking about a multi-billion dollar company. I’ve seen Steam Green lit games receive more updates ffs.

Returning players want to play as these they dont want to comeback to unlock them!

Quit being lazy and hiding behind an alt.

With minimal work from myself I’ve nearly got all 4 alliance allied races unlocked. I’m just 3k rep and a patch away from Kul Tirans.

There’s nothing difficult required to unlock the allied races. You’re just mad because you’re not getting them for free.

He just said he’s played horde for 12 years, so…

It is a system designed to keep MAU’s up. Apparently measuring time spent in a virtual environment is what the shareholder’s consider “engaging”. However, it is only considering ONE component of “engagement”.

If you believe lies and false facts, things often don’t make sense.

For example, “lost 50% of player base BECAUSE of the rep grind needed to unlock the Allied Races” is obviously a lie. There is no way to make sense of that lie AND Blizzard acting as if that isn’t true.

But Blizzard knows that isn’t true, so their actions make sense.

Yes it is mind boggling that people are incapable of reading or finishing a simple rep grind

Lucky we don’t have that system. I guess Blizzard agrees with you.

THERE IS NO WAY to unlock allied races BY HANDING BLIZZARD MONEY.

Why do you even talk about “Hand Blizzard money” in a thread about unlocking Allied Races. Are you trying to start a false rumor?

These grinds can be up to a months worth of grind.

here is how they’d be correct.

You want to unlock a nightborne. For whatever reason(s).

You have only been alliance or you have that say level 40 horde you tried once.

You alliance is a loremaster all exalted in legion. They’d done surarmar quest line as well.

They have removed trials 110’s able to unlock allieds. They without workarounds cannot even get to dalaran.

You either take that 40 hordre to 110 naturally. Or you pay to boost.

Now horde wants a VE. No alliance. They cannot get a trial 110 alliance into argus to start that. Level an alliance…or boost.

All I have is four things to say. Some people really need to realize just how much what they say is a what DAA moment.

  1. Dk was a class, not a race per se. It only took a day at most to unlock if you did not have the required level.
  2. Dh was a class that you could activate if use a level 90 boost. It did not require anything else.
  3. Mounts, tabards and other stuff were cosmetic. It did bring anything to the game that altered or affected in raids, dungeons or pvp. Races do affect all these. major differences.
  4. Making them go back for months or days it does not matter. what matters it is time used to unlock a race. Is the game changing? it was never done before. Something that should have been considered for future games. It will become a hindrance as the game grows. As shown once in the game. the dev will not change it.

And is that really so hard? No
