They are in BfA.
It’s a bit late and I refuse to deal with… that right now. Have a nice day.

For Horde players? Where?
It’s really past time that someone went and woke up the remaining night elven worgen.
It’d have made a lot of sense for Tyrande to have done so after the tree was burnt.
I find that a poor viewpoint. It wouldn’t make sense for them to join the Alliance if they were seeking an alliance with the Horde…
Despite the Horde player not seeing them for ridiculous reasons. They were still there.
Its not like anyone would make you make one though.
Sethrak use the same skelly.
Thats not really that bad an idea all things considered.
Sanlayn are only in BfA as a plot point for an Alliance quest.
That gives them zero credibility as a Horde allied race.
Calia was bad enough. We don’t need any more of that garbage sneaking in as allied race plot material.
They have plenty of credibility.
Sorry you missed them by playing only one side I guess?
They literally tried to join the Horde… what more credibility do you need?
We don’t need more Alliance storyline material sneaking into the Horde.
As I said: Calia was bad enough. She shows up and, as a Horde player, you’re like “Who the hell is this person?”
to be totally fair, it was the same as alliance. She was just introduced as jainas old friend who is now an undead lightforged living out in stormsong. totally out of left field for non book readers.
She’d done it before, along with many other instances, I was surprised they didn’t take the opportunity. Their race was in dire straights and it wasn’t the first time she’d gone and freed something that was locked away for being too dangerous when things got dire.
Plus you throw in Malfurion who underwent the same experience as the night elven worgen, and now knowing we have a way to retain your mind, that is also taught by night elven worgen…leaving others sleeping is a bit inhumane…inelfmane?
There’s also the more feral groups we encountered in the island expeditions that could have played into it…introducing them to “cure” to recruit them.
I’m sorry you didn’t play both sides to experience the full story.
It makes no sense to say zero credibility when they were actively working to join the horde during the questline.
Isn’t this a bit ironic coming from a vulpera which a ton of people complained about?
I believe she has more visibility in the Alliance storyline. Not much, granted, but a bit more than as Horde where it’s just “look at her through the bushes”.
They have as much say about possible future races as anyone else, so… not much more credibility is needed. Allied races just got them in their feelings.
The only people complaining about Vulpera are Alliance players who expected us to join them after burning our caravans.
a little more than that, but not much at all. Basically we need some information and jaina remembers an old friend who might know so off we trot to her house. end of story.
Don’t recall if there was much of a role, but priests would have been more familiar with her before the book as she was introduced in their class hall in legion.
I didn’t care which side they joined, but that was also a funny quest as it was changed depending on which faction was doing it.
I just find it strange how many players, especially horde players (I play both), come into threads and complain against what players would enjoy playing as.
I’ll support pretty much anything to be playable when it’s something people want to play as.
The more options, the better. There’s a ton of options that should already be playable and this game could do with a lot more customization.
Those who want information on who Calia is have to be Priests and go through their Class Hall Questlines.
I don’t want minions of the Lich King that we wiped out 10 years ago and haven’t been seen since to be joining the Horde.
Nor do I see anything strange about that.
If somebody wants to play as a Sanlayn, then lobby for them as an Alliance race.
You’re already got former members of the lich king on your faction. It’s pretty fitting for more.
No. Stop using us as a dumping ground for stuff to make you guys feel better. We’ve had more than enough of that from Blizzard, already.
I play horde and want to play a san’layn.
Between the blood elves, forsaken, people wanting dark rangers, and san’layn. All those together on the same faction makes a lot of sense.
Yikes.
In any case, they need to fix the current allied races we have now before they implement more. Looking at Nightborne and Vulpera in particular, as well as Mechagnomes and LF Draenei. Horrible customization options, lots of awful clipping, poor Vulpera don’t look good in any gear, and Nightborne in particular look stiff and not as polished as any other race option.
To be fair, they were all kind of pushed out quickly, I don’t know how long it took for them to develop their assets. But they need work.
