Something I also just learned about trials is that they can communicate properly for other characters that are within around a 10 level difference. So other trials can talk normally with each other, and up to level 30 non-trial characters can see posts too. Assuming the trials are all level 20.
first time they do something for rp’ers lol
I’ll continue to support our Alliance side folk. From here on out we need to stop saying WRA is for Horde and MG is for Alliance.
The biggest hit for our WRA Alliance is that every time someone posts “Hey guys, looking to get back to RP, I rolled my new elf today and want to know how the community is and what guilds you think would fit me!”
And you always get “MG is way higher in Alliance population than WRA, on WRA you might have a tough time but there are some good dedicated communities holding strong.”
That might sound good, but it still is very discouraging. Just cut straight to the case, mention any WRA Alliance discords, mention this community project, list out what events have been going on, talk about the guilds and the RP and the reoccuring events. And for the love of all that is sacred, actually support and respond to Alliance projects instead of making another throw away forum topic about some troll or meme that buries events some people put a lot of hard work in, but don’t have the forum abilities to make their post all pretty with graphics to get people interested.
I support your project, and I will send people your way if I can remember it in the moment.
As always, Mead Hall continues to host events.
While some have moved to MG it’s still got plenty of WRA folks and they anchor into WRA.
I’m not sure if Cask n Anvil is still on their every other week schedule but Fridays 6pm WRA server time you can find them in Iron Forge. There is also Mythril Mug every Sunday 6pm WRA server time in the Anvilmar pub.
Finally Mead Hall hosts community events such as the monthly Moots and a number of public RP events through out the week. In addition there is some raiding/mythic groups as well for those interested.
It has slowed down and gotten a bit quiet but I think you can contribute the decline in numbers to the state of the current expansion and the lawsuits. Otherwise don’t need to be a dwarf to join and there’s still a handful of people playing and hosting RP events, so please check them out, I’m sure there are others that would be happy to contribute.
Quit edit but here is a link to the discord

For anyone interested in a moderation role in the community and/or building the LFRP community from the ground up, you can DM me on Discord.
Courts looks cool. What I find myself thinking about in terms of WoW is A-side paladin, for some reason.
It’s the prospect of listening to Call to Arms on loop while you roleplay. It tempts the heart of mortals.
Cannot disagree with this.
Also, OP I’m down for whatever. I can’t be here all the time but I’ll contribute what I can!
Feel free to reach out to me!
I think we have a good group to get started in brainstorming and building things up.
I’ve stretched myself too thin trying to do both Alliance and Horde, and I’ve ultimately decided to focus on Horde… I don’t think I could be of any meaningful help with the allyside stuff anymore.
But I just wanted to give this a little bump of support. I started on Alliance-side, and have some awesome memories and lifelong friends from that time. While I’ve found my home in many ways over on Hordeside, I will always, always love Alliance RP and want it to prosper on this server. So, sincerely, good luck. I hope you can help it to grow once again - WRA had and has a great community, that’s worth fighting for.
Who’s to say your Horde can’t have an Alliance side disguise for support! not to mention Alliance run neutral events to give your bones something different to do. Gotta go experience the world!
That being said, ARE there Alliance WRA discords people can join?
Horde members will be welcome to join the community as neutral events will be a thing! So I hope you’ll join once it’s up and running!
I just resubbed today and would love to see Alliance-side RP improve here on WrA, as I really don’t want to transfer to MG. Echo the above that a Discord for Alliance RP might be useful, if there’s not one already. I was in one for Boralus RP awhile back and it seemed to help bring a small group of RPers together.
A discord is in the works!
The Pandas are here to stay and not moving to Moonguard! We are more than happy to assist in any way we can, despite us not being much of a city-RP or Alliance focused guild!
Go Wyrmrest!
Good luck! Played Alliance for numerous years on WRA.
Reach out if you’re interested in taking a more involved role in the community! The more of us the better! If not, stay tuned for information on how to help out later!
Hi
So I just resubbed after being away for a long time. I used to have cross-faction events on this server a lot. I would be interested in maybe helping the community liven up a bit again but I am not sure what really can be done.
Will reach out to you on Discord tomorrow.
Chiming in from Moon Guard here -
Our Horde RPers are in the midst of a similar conversation, and for what it’s worth it sounds like things are gradually improving for them. As a relative newcomer to the current era of WoW (I played from Vanilla to Cata and came back shortly before Shadowlands), I’d like to believe that whatever tensions originally fractured our communities have healed and that only convention and reputation keep it that way. I myself have been graciously anchored to WrA several times and met a number of terrific people (from both factions) there and at cross-server events. At this point it seems the only thing keeping us from being one big community is a couple of computers at Blizzard HQ, and while that’s a shame, the “forbidden door” has never been as open as it is now.
Hell, I feel like an unofficial WRAer at this point. I’ve been spooked by Thomas Bates, I’ve been pwned by Sunfury Battalion, and I see more and more people posting on both servers’ forums. So I wish you guys all the best, and don’t mind me if I find myself sliding into your Discords.
I’ve always been very pro-cross faction (these are the End Times–we will soon all not have the luxury RPing within our own). I am also pro-mingling with Moon Guard. We have more that connects us than separates us.
