And if he shows, tell him he needs to prove he can hunt. Send him on your OWN quest. “If you and your friends can kill one of those rabid wolves in the woods, we might hire you.”
No combativeness Borgg. You said that people were saying that the Alliance side RP is dead, and I said it wasn’t. Sorry it came off as such. We alliance rpers are quite defensive when it comes to people that don’t play Alliance side calling our community dead.

I’ve been on WrA for like 12 years. I have played both sides, though I am admittedly overwhelmingly Horde in preference.
However, even as a Horde diehard I realize that having one faction- even the one I prefer- being overwhelmingly populated versus the other side doesn’t do ANYONE any good.
Also, I like hearing people in the WrA community doing things that help the community as a whole.
My comments were only in response to how it seems that many Alli players have mentioned how Alli side seems empty now. I kind of assumed that was one of the motives of this thread to begin with- an attempt to kickstart/save Alli rp.
So again, while I do wish a swift and merciless annihilation of my enemies, I want them to feel it at the end of my blade. Not because the devs have made the game so unenjoyable that people are bailing left and right.
Of course I was one of the ones who bailed too so none of what I think matters anymore anyway. Good luck!

I’m waiting for how the CEO stuff folds out. If something good happens on that front, I may consider resubscribing just to play the game and RP with the community. I hope better times come sooner rather than later for the game, employees, and the community.

There is a part of me which really does wish to help.
But on top of the current commitments with Zandalar Commune and aim to help restore social events to be a norm again…
I’m not going to lie. The time I tried to help some people make a Alliance community on WrA did leave me extremely weary with how much baggage I learned existed between long standing groups.
I really hope that the current state of things is washing that away, but the memories of that 6 month occurrence make me very cautious about it.

i hate that the “MOON GUARD ALLIANCE, WYRMREST HORDE XD” nonsense ever took root but i genuinely think that (plus general faction neglect) has screwed WrA alliance until they finally bite the bullet and just do cross faction stuff

I really do wish to see WrA Alliance rebound though. It has the potential to do so. I’m not the right person for it, but you do seem like someone who could make a proper, serious bid for it.
My suggestion is to make all Alliance rp into Duskwood rp.
What if we just moved alliance RP into Duskwood RP?

I know this is a question some might qualify as a “pickle,” as the kids say, but are there any ways to encourage/support RP when you’re not subscribed? I want Alliance RP to do well, but I also don’t want to…pay money.
You could always RP on a trial account. It might be difficult with the trial restrictions but it’s an option.
Seconding what Auhgag said.
There have been a couple people shifting to trial accounts, just make sure to make note in your RP addon of choice of how you might try and initiate with subscribed people above the level cap for trial communications so they can party up/whisper you. I know some people target and hop in front of whoever it may be that they’re interested in RPing with.
