Alliance players get ready for Tuesday

Nobody on the Alliance cares about you getting gear or wants you have unreasonable queue times. It actually has nothing to do with you or anything to do with the horde.

The anger is that this change as seen as almost exclusively a Horde benefit. The rare case that it benefits an alliance player certainly isn’t the norm.

The Horde already has many benefits to choosing them over the alliance because of their population advantage. Again, nobody is angry at horde players over this.

Adding an additional benefit to choosing horde over alliance is going to cause new players coming to the game to even be more likely to be horde than they already are. Because there is zero downside to being horde.

There are also the few alliance players that are PvP focused that will likely reroll. Also the few horde players that rerolled alliance for quicker queue times will be returning because why not. These players aren’t many but when you’re the minority, each loss of a member is more meaningful than the loss on the majority.

For all the horde players who post that they didn’t select horde for any other reason than you felt some sort of connection to the faction or you have played it for many years … imagine things are reversed and the horde has a massively undersized population and Blizzard puts in a change that is going to make the faction you have played for over a decade even less populated. Would you be upset? Not at the players but upset at the situation.

Maybe take this into consideration before writing smug posts about the change. Try and show a little class and be a gracious winner.

Hey, at least blizzard let the alliance noobs get an advantage this season because lord knows they needed it!

Alliance don’t pvp as much as horde, the numbers over all are very similar. Alliance are the dominant PvE faction.

LOL now you will be able to enjoy your huge advantage in racials and pretend its because you are good

Nah man, you must’ve seen the posts from all the Alliance players claiming they’d throw the game if they got matched with a Horde merc. Same faction BGs is just better, neither side has racial ability advantage.

L M A O. Imagine thinking that losing 3 games an hour for 80 honor is equal to winning one per hour at 350+. Horde have had a gear gap since day one of TBC.

Im your huckleberry there hotshot anytime you want. I have a level 37 alt if you’d like also

as if somehow a player created problem is equal to one implemented by blizzard, give this guy a cookie, also people who name toons after themselves are just…* shudder *

Yes Alliance are ready for tuesday, when they decide to quit this game for a game where the devs actually give a damn.

I was thinking the same thing…

Do they? Does this stop the bleed? Alliance PvP participation/population improves? Or does this also just address one problem - horde queues?

They had players on these forums and on twitter begging for horde to alliance transfers before they went nuclear. I think they should have given that a little more consideration.

can you link the info? website

Game literally will only be better for those affected by the issue, and not changed for those that don’t. But be salty about it.

Can’t wait for Blizzard to kill this game due to their incompetence. Enjoy playing with your ‘friends’, dear Horde. Too bad it takes less than a month to reach max level but it’s inconceivable for you to roll an Alliance character due to all the precious time you have invested. The only Alliance sticking around on PvP servers will be the total idiots. So, big congratulations to Horde for stomping the remaining idiot Alliance that were too dumb to change factions. You really showed them whose boss. Pat yourselves on the back, you won. You should be proud.

I literally said this like 3 responses before as well:

There’s just more moving parts in AV - the NPCS, the trinkets etc; I’m just not sure what a logistics nightmare it would be to get that all working properly.

PLUS - it’s weird. There’s literally tons of alliance on here saying it’s weird being against your own faction as well. You’re in the minority.

Yea just because people asked for something doesn’t mean it would do anything. The people still believing in horde to alliance transfers as the option are delusional. There’s no reason to expect that to change. At this point, I absolutely believe the Alliance asking for the transfers know it won’t fix anything and want the transfers to take place so they can keep the issue around for longer.

Dawg, I never argued that it wasn’t weird. I think it’s weird. The entire point I was making is this: that same level of “weird” applies to all battlegrounds. It doesn’t matter if there are mask wearing NPCs or not. Horde based out of an alliance stronghold, fighting other horde, is weird for Burning Crusade. It’s something that should not be in it.

See posts like this are totally unproductive.

  1. You’re on an ally dominated server, acting like you’re some down trodden beaten miserable soul.

  2. The updated faction ratio is now 45(A)/55(H) from the data we can get. So, seriously, grow up.

  3. Horde are stomping the 10s of 1000s of ally on their skewed PVE servers? What?

  4. Why are you blaming the players for blizzard’s mistake in allowing ALLIANCE TO TRANSFER OFF THE SERVERS LEAVING THEM IN A SUPER MINORITY FOR THOSE WHO STAYED.

  5. Ally getting destroyed in BGs has nothing to do with racials. It’s the attitude and afkers. That isn’t the horde’s fault. It’s ours.

But yeah, sure, all horde’s fault.

Logic. Get some.

You missed my point entirely. Reading comprehension is not your strong point. That’s OK.

I actually don’t think I did. Go back and reread what you wrote. The fault lies with you.
