Alliance players get ready for Tuesday

Faction vs Faction bgs will be permanently implemented and Horde players will finally be able to play the game.

The massive PvP gear gap you all have over us is going to quickly close as you will no longer be able to gate keep pvp.

I would suggest you attempt to push your rating as high as you can this week because soon you won’t be able to rely on having double the resilience of horde teams.

Unfortunately you prolly right. GZ on being smug by declaring that the game will be worse for everyone in the end.

Compared to being smug because the game was worse for Horde?

I really hope they roll out a merc mode for testing, first. I’m all for horde having faster queues but I don’t really enjoy same faction vs same faction bgs.

Merc mode should be a relatively easy thing to do. And, I’m fairly certain horde wouldn’t care. Plus, it helps us by getting people who don’t want to afk in their starting zones. It’s a win/win.

How is alliance gatekeeping pvp? By not existing in the same number as horde? What terrible people, just not existing all menacingly and such!

so it’s alliance’s fault that the horde have long queue times? what a joke. i bet the alliance were gatekeeping all the honor in phase 2 back in classic as well by moving to PvE servers or by quitting

Nobody on ally side is smug. Nobody here enjoys you sitting in 2 hour queues. PRetty much every ally is concerned about the long term effects of merc mode 2.0… which basically is the alliance faction slowly but surely dying.

You may reroll or go to retail sir.

The ethereal npcs say it best…

“I foresee a mutual beneficial transaction”

Should horde vs horde become permanent, alliance want something they can benefit from and well.

Fair is fair.

How was it worse you complain about ques but alliance pugs lose probably about 90% of the time??

I do agree that Merc mode would be better because you guys will get dedicated pvpers on your team that are actually trying to win. Alliance win rates will go up and horde will actually be able to play the game.

If only the same few trolls didn’t spam they would quit if Merc mode was added maybe blizzard would have implemented that instead.

Unfortunately blizzard took the path of least resistance.

I dont think so. Im not shooting the idea down. Its an option worth considering. But i truly believe there is a false perception that horde faction is better at pvp. I think this is prompted by unfair advantages in AV. But outside of av, we win more times then not. I think a lot of bad alliance players switching to horde because they think horde win more. I dont want those players mercing on my games. Plus i just think its a mental thing. Yes u would still want to win but at rhe same time you dont want to see your faction lose. Again, not shooting the concept down. I personaly would prefer a different option. Even if i didnt mind horde players on my team, i just dont ever ever want to join a horde team. I think when this was implemnted in one of the expansions it was optional though. Like you had to sign up as merc.

AV clearly CLEARY favors us, by FAR. It is the historically the #1 most won ally bg in all of wow, at any point in wow’s history.

Us losing AV now is 100% on us, and our fault.

But, if players are signing up for merc mode, they’re probably more likely to participate in BGs. And you wouldn’t have to join a horde team. You flag yourself as merc mode and get put on whatever queue needs whatever player. Don’t want to tag yourself? No problem, don’t.

Yep and it would keep with blizz logic. They added boosting so new players could play with thier friends and not be behind. They justified allowing everyone to buy a boost with the “its only fair that if one person gets a boost then everyone shoukd be allowed to”

That is a damned lie, sir.
