Neither is yours. If you queue for a BG you are not locked in place. You can play the game just fine. Go do a quest or wpvp or whatever. Nothing, literally nothing is freezing you in place.

It isn’t fact that it’s more challenging to change the way all the NPCs/Trinkets/Quests work in AV? No…I’m pretty sure that’s a fact. That’s a lot more moving parts than where a flag is capped.
It has new systems that created new challenges for Blizzard to solve. HvH BG’s is one of the solutions. Their ability to solve these problems in a way that helps the majority of the player base, I am convinced is why WoW has been the only relevant for the past 15 years.

I predict u are wrong. It’s going to take longer than a week for blizzard to look at the data and make a decision. It took them all of classic to add in that buff saver item.
See, now you’re straying away from the “it’s just weird” argument. You seem to be grasping for any excuse as to why this can’t be implemented, I wonder why…
They could easily make it so quests are completable on both sides, or they could make it so you have to queue into your faction to do quests. But this is all beside the point of the “it’s just weird” argument that we were discussing.
Least resistance? Have you not seen these forums? They took the lazy way out. This addresses the immediate problem while completely ignoring the underlying cause. What could possibly go wrong?

No clue why they didn’t just ignore the forum trolls and do Merc mode. Horde que times go down and Alliance win rates go up everybody wins.
am not sure if you know arena point gear is 300% stronger than the honor gear.
honor set is terrible. The off set is the real winner
Its not even about this bro your getting ahead of yourself with this issue. But the queues are UNPLAYABLE i cant even ply the game. Without pvp i would never even come close to playing burning crusade. This is a pvp game and the best one, I will play i will play with fast queues. 
As has been pointed out above, this just completely defies logic.

My buddy works on Overwatch and told me they just gonna implement retail Merc/Enlistment bonus because the system is already set up and will cause least amount of friction.
Sorry to break the news to ya bro.
And it’s not happening on Tuesday. Should be in a few weeks while they get the retail faction balance PVP system in place.
I’m not happy about Merc/Enlistment, but it’s better than HvH.
