Alliance needs better pvpers

He wouldn’t last two seconds.

gadgetzan on whitemane was a real blast last night, i corpse crawled on my 44 alt to zulfarrak. Took us 45 minutes to even get started thanks to theramore boat camping, fp camping, and general griefing.

i had a full 2 minute rez timer and was camped by 6 level 60s on the run from gadget to zf, an additional 4 outside the instance, and 10 or so back in town with mages pom pyroblasting lowbies off the cage roof.

i died easily 12 times in tanaris alone, it was just a constant parade of die, rezz, run 10 yards, get ganked again, rinse repeat. Our group was worth zero honor to any of these people, we were leveling lowbies.

Yea, every team based shooter I ever played enforced a certain amount of team balance. TF2 scrambled teams after so many losses and autobalanced to account for leavers, overwatch matches end early if a player from one side leaves.

Even ffxi and ffxiv, neither of which have any faction based pvp still have controls on character creation to prevent lopsided mega servers and dead servers from happening - you cant create a character on high pop servers during prime play times, ffxi required you have a friend with an existing character purchase you a world pass (from an npc in-game) if you wanted to roll on a high pop server and the cost of that pass increased incrementally based on just how overpopulated a server was.

… and ffxi came out before wow, so im not sure why blizzard couldnt come up with a similar solution.

Talking about tinkets, how about stoneform, escape artist, shadowmeld and perception. Humans while theirs is the least useful still have 4 other amazing abilities

Well, duh. You took advantage of the numbers. You 1 v 2 them (and didn’t wait for the other 7 to show up).

Yes, your post is.

Sick burn! Though, I wouldn’t mind seeing you explain why my post is silly… if your space goat brain can even handle doing that much.

What was that about a sick burn… ugh.

Where to begin… I guess we can start with the fact that it’s the most disingenuous post in the thread.

Yet, this is exactly what the Horde expects from the Alliance. How dare they “flee” when a server is 90:10. Must be “bads.”

If I roll my eyes any harder, they’ll fall out.

Horde , undead , ignored

Well, you tried, so I’ll give you credit for that much. Now, head on back to the failed experiment known as retail WoW. Hurry along now! <3

The whole reason I rolled Alliance this time around instead of Horde. More Horde players should imo just to show the other Alliance how it’s done but when they make ____ thread whining about phase 2 it just makes me 🤦

Wow, I guess you told me.

/shoo

You skipped the zones where all the problems are being reported? Um okay.

Frankly, I’m lucky to be on (maybe the only) balanced PvP server. I chose Grob for that reason, because RP-PvP players/guilds will work together to try to maintain a decent sense of balance. They prefer actual PvP over the sweaty “Horde smash” 9v1 thing.

The PvE server my friends and family got me on is lopsided, pro Alli. It sucks, because the Horde don’t even want to fight back. We can just sit in Org and nobody makes a move. Bleh. I know it isn’t because our Alli players are SO good… it’s because we outnumber them SO badly.

What’s more fun… real PvP where anything can happen or a guaranteed outcome due to nothing but numbers?

 :kissing_heart:

being in that mind set and being set up for pvp is the main thing for me, seeing I am lvling and questing, I am using a void walker as a pet which is not the best for PvP, now when i pvp i play different and have that mind set, plus most times i don’t bother fighting back vs a 60 or 3 of them, whats the use.

The amount is irrelivant. ANY slight advantage the hardcore will take.

Of course the amount is relevant! Absolutely and unequivocally.

Guaranteed op hasn’t left the safety of his 40 man raid all week.

Said the irrelevant retail toon. You must be lost.

You’re trying to find data that doesn’t exist. I’m going to explain it in simple terms. When most people turn in a quest, and there are 3 rewards, the majority will take the highest vendor item (assuming they can’t use the rewards)

Item 1: 5s 34c
Item 2 7s 58c
Item 3: 7s 60c

If said person can see the vendor sell value, they will take item 3. 2c is basically nothing. But, the advantage is there. So given the choice, people naturally take it.

You are not killing anyone with that druid lol

Which is why you are a Dwarf, huh?
