Actually I’m night elf. And, I’m a pver. I also picked night elf for shadowmeld, and dodge. I also have a troll warrior, for the incombat regen. I play tank.
Probably more for Berserking, and that’s helpful for threat, whereas the benefit of in-combat regen is actually an incredibly good example of just why the amount an advantage matters, as in this case, it is so small, it doesn’t matter.
Either way, the perceived advantage is why I picked my races. Pve isn’t nearly as pride hurting, when you lose, so pve choices are much less stressed. We were originally talking about pvp. And, while the advantage will be taken, most of the time, as I stated “MOST” will pick it. Threat isn’t as big a deal for me, as others
We are at a point where we can safely say that people are rolling Horde to avoid wPvP. So no, if you roll Alliance, you’ve got balls.
Looking at your profile you don’t seem very good either at PvP. You seem to only play on faction that has the numbers uh?
It doesn’t matter if Alliance is good or not. You can’t win 10v40 no matter how good you are.
I play Horde on a “fairly balanced” server on classic, so I don’t have first hand experience of what’s happening. But I can understand what’s going on, considering I main ally on retail.
If that’s true, then most Classic Paladins are Dwarves. Is that evident? (I don’t actually know. I guess they are mostly human, but I don’t have any numbers).
While you claim that most will chose the advantage, or maybe the perceived advantage, and I don’t think that’s entirely untrue, I wouldn’t discount the numbers who choose fashion over function (and, frankly, I don’t buy into the faction racial+class combination availability advantage being nearly big enough to cause an uproar).
Or the female version of whatever that sentiment is supposed to actually mean
Look, I’m not playing lawyer with you. I don’t want to explain this over and over. Here’s the last response I’m going to reply, as you don’t seem to want to understand.
People will take any small advantage in pvp they can. End of story, any further responce to me will be invalid from here on out, by you Snipy. We do not agree, and I refuse to lawyer a debate.
This is the last word between us. If a responce from you appears, I will specifically not read it, by making sure to check the name first.
It’s not that I don’t understand, it’s just that what you are saying is not entirely true. Some people (there is a name for them) will take any advantage possible. It’s called a min/maxer. That does not represent the entirety of the WoW Classic population.
In any case, there are also people (like me), who are excited by the faction imbalance, and will take the advantage of being on the smaller population side, and reroll. Which is one major reason I’ve rerolled Alliance (much easier to farm honor).
That’s interesting.
You’re absolutely right. And since everyone wants Blizzard to fix the issue, this is what they should do:
Decimate the Horde – literally.
Every tenth Horde character is forcibly and irreversibly made Alliance.
I would like the option for them to server transfer to a high ally population. Since people want the advantage of being Horde, don’t take that away.
gonna say ovaries.
Maybe. I mean, I understand what the words mean (for both of them), but I don’t understand why either of them would be used to mean, “brave,” or “courageous,” which is what I think they are used for
Anyway, I agree with the sentiment!
This absolutely isn’t true. Not everybody believes there is an issue, other than some people rolled on PVP servers on accident.
If someone thought, “I want to engage in PVP sometimes, but not when I don’t want to. Kind of like Warmode on Retail…”
That’s an excellent example of someone who should roll on a PVE server.
That would work. In my case, I rerolled Alliance on a high Horde, low Alliance population server.
Does anyone know why people will mostly choose the advantage (like the horde) when people say just have fun?
on thallanos its more like 6v1, cant go anywhere without running into larger groups of horde, its not a “we suck” issue, its a numbers issue, even going into ubrs as a 10man, running into 40 horde at the flight path, 40more on the ramp to brm, and like 60more inside is just stupid.
Oh look a 120 priest. Do you even play Classic?
A lot of big talk from a person that probably never pvp’s without at least a full group. lol
You realize that’s actually a pretty good measure. Unlike characters - Raid Logs captures actual dedicated players at max level.
