I’m not fat - the camera adds 300 lbs
Them leaving the Wildhammer as a minor customization is one of Blizzards more frustrating mistakes.
Wildhammer do not fit Bronzebeard dwarf classes. They’d never be caught as mages warlocks or paladins.
But druid? Right up their alley.
Well maybe the dev could deal with our demand if our demand were more reasonable. The alliance was favoured from Vanila to Wotlk and as soon as they start giving more to the horde to make them at our level, our side start whining about a none existent bias… Maybe if we stop asking for horde race we would have better chance to get what we want.
You mean how legion and Shadowland is a alliance expansion? I really don’t see why a horde player would like those expansion more than us when they don’t even exist in those story. Even in Bfa, i don’t see how horde player should like to get beat by us all of the expansion…
HE left us when Wow didn’t exist. In Wow, HE/BE were always more a horde thing then a alliance thing. Blizzard really love us to much to take a horde race and give it to us just because we ask it.
I agree. The horde should already got Sethrak as they are a important part of their Bfa continent.
No. They should give the horde Sethrak while giving the alliance a weak race to make it up for how the alliance biased dev made our faction so much stronger than the horde.
Stolen Sethrak from the horde to give them to horde clearly won’t help the fact they they already stole BE to give them to us.
More like:
Kelfin vs Jinyu/Ankoan which is the make up for Vulpera/mechagnome
saurok and sethrak for horde vs both Arakoa model for the alliance. ( Sethrak are already allied with 2 horde race and just make no sense in the alliance).
Botani for horde ( we really need a nature race) vs saberon for the alliance ( the need the feral race that they were suppose to get in cata, plus they share the same model as worgen).
Ogre vs Vrykul.
You just realise that? This thread is basically a ‘’ let make the alliance the victim so we can rightly ask for better thing and more thing than the horde’’ thread.
I can already see alliance player whining about getting dwarf with tattoo while the horde get something ‘‘insert a really to say they are better’’ better…
Personalty i have absolutely no problem to have wildhammer be their own allied race and be taller like they are in lore, but i am not even sure that this is what your own faction really want. At least not with the amount of post that i see whining about the alliance just getting human looking race our just reskin looking race…
The demands are reasonable. Especially the High Elf-one which got half-hearted granted. First as an undesirable race and four years later as a compromise.
The problem lies within the biggest heroes being Alliance-ones. Powerful godlike beings with no equal. They have written themselves into a corner with this, especially during Legion where several prominent characters should have been not limited to Class Hall storylines but to the main story.
If we go by strict lore, then the Alliance is indestructible. But they are the foils to the “superior developer faction” without bringing in actual engaging storylines. Instead powering down every being by a climatic event so we are all even, the Alliance continues to be the best of the best who will do “mistakes” or “dumb decisions” to even out the god-like powers.
It isn’t reasonable when it already a other faction race. Everytime allied race are a discussion, i always see hode player asking for reasonable thing such as reskin troll, reskin orc or resking of other horde race, race that are already close to the horde like sethrak.
Meanwhile, my faction always ask for thing that are unlikely to happen like horde race, horde affiliated race, race that don’t even have leg like naga or race that are to big to fit through door… Here are the list or horde race that i saw my faction asking for.
Blood elf, tauren, mag’har orc, lightbound orc, forest troll, blood troll, lightforged undead, goblin, and other horde affiliated race like sethrak.
Maybe if my faction started asking for alliance reskin instead of horde reskin, they would have more chance to get what they want. Meanwhile horde player are asking for horde reskin or horde affiliated race so guess what they get?..
Which is why our few of our leader need to die while the horde get strong one. Same for the race. We need a few weak useless allied race while the horde get powerfull allied race.
High elves were never affiliated with the Horde. It was Blizz that took Horde affiliated Blood elves and turned them into Alliance because they continually forget the High elven Silver Covenant and Allerian Stronghold High elves.
Horde has been asking for Ogres forever despite it never going to happen. And people do seriously ask for Eredar.
“We’re not the bad guys, but also, give us literally life-devouring demons as playable please”.
Kelfin and Ankoan just fit. Like Taunka and Frostborn or Hozen and Jinyu.
I said Saurok and Sethrak because that would be a dream for me. (though neutral Sethrak is the really big one for me). Honestly tying Saurok to say Arakkoa and Sethrak to Furbolg works for me.
Ogres for Saberon I’d be ok with.
Botani I don’t think could be friendly to anyone but I want to see them overtake the Wailing Caverns!
Alteraci Humans for Horde and Ethereals for Alliance?
Vrykul? Sure why not.
Let them.
They do it to me now, they’ll do it to me later.
I might as well get the race I want if they’re going to anyways.
Yes they are. Blood elf are high elf that changed their name because blizzard knew how much hate they would get by letting the horde get a race called high elf. They did the same thing when they gave them nightborn who are highborn but they changed their name because NE player would have whine about it.
HE is the name of the race and have a signification to it. The few people that we have living in human street doesn’t represent them. The nearly entirely of the race that kept living in the kingdom are.
Lorewise, Ogre being 10 foot tall to fit into door make sense since not all ogre are 14ft tall compare to vrykul who are all giant.
And yet i never saw a horde player whining that they didn’t get them. Meanwhile i did see my side whining about not getting mag’har orc, tauren, blood elf paladin, goblin and just in this thread many of them whined about not getting Sethrak…
Blizzard has continually, throughout WoW, shown non-horde aligned high elves as friendly to the Alliance. In vanilla it was in the lodges in E. Plaguelands, hinterlands, loch modan. In Outlands it was Allerian stronghold. In Wrath it was the Silver covenant. On and on and on. Even in BfA the main mage sending us off the war fronts was a high elf.
Don’t give me that nonsense, sir/ma’am!
I do think you are right, people would complain but the Council of Three Hammers needs equal representation!! We have two out of the three :(, and Wildhammer Dwarves played such major roles within the Alliance.
But I’m just a huge advocate in general for more races for both factions, be it another Allied Race (Wildhammer Clan for example) to new core races Ogres, Tuskarr, Sethrak and so on.
The WoW lore is so rich with great Races new and old!! I’d love to see them all come into play at some point, I honestly love when joining a Raid and seeing such great diversity within the group.
I have two mains my Horde Warlock and Alliance Shaman, so I try always to always push for greatness on both sides for race choices.
we’re going to get the boring blue people from bastion, while horde will get the awesome venthyr and and stag people from ardenweald.
Uncorrupted Arakkoa would be a nice add for the Alliance
I actually still can’t believe Ogres aren’t playable for the Horde. A strait up old school race.
I remember a Dev years and years ago mentioned they were going to happen, but then last minute scrapped them for Goblins all the way back in Cataclysm…
You mean the 10 of them in the most irrelevant way possible? The HE are not even the 1/10 as important to the alliance as you try to claim. They are always just their to be the blood elf opponent. Let just see what they did since Mop, which mean the last 9 years.
Mop: They only appear in the purge of dalaran because of the action of some blood elf. Than, on the isle of thunder, they once again are just their to oppose the blood elf. Even there the blood elf are all the horde force while the HE are barely like 1/5 of the alliance force. Basically, some HE appear to what is in reality a blood elf story.
Wod: Inexistant.
Legion: They once again only appear to be the counter part of blood elf in Suramar. The NE presence is relevant because of their past and the blood elf presence is important because it is the reason the NB join the horde. Once again, the HE presence isn’t relevant at all and bring nothing to the story. They are just there because the blood elf are there.
Bfa: 3 HE are part of the island expedition and that all. Meanwhile the blood elf are once again way more important as they have a camp on zuldazar and are a important part in the rebellion story on either side.
Shadowland: Not existant.
So as you said:
Don’t give me that non-sense and trying to make them relevant since they are not… The blood elf are the playable and the relevant HE of Wow.
This will very likely happen for the Alliance. You guys always get the humans shoved down the line, if you like it or not. And I’m pretty sure people would also defend them because they look youthful.
Void Elves were the only race that you could argue were stolen from the Horde but aside from that, all other Alliance races are technically original, nothing was stolen.
