It’s hilarious how the Void Elves and Lightforge Draenei are on the same faction. The Horde doesn’t get access to either one of those races that bring with them the power of the Void and the Light.
if by stolen you are referring to velfs then go look up the lore belfs were stolen from the alliance first.
Just wanted to mention love your ideas on playable races, but honestly keepers of the grove and dryads I hope one day become a Restoration Druid form as they literally are one of the best healers on Azeroth and I quote “ Keepers possess many strange powers over nature and can be counted among Azeroth’s best healers.”
Literally perfect for Restoration Druids, they could even glyph it like Treant Form, have one or the other .
Edit: Also Tuskarr it’s about time they join the Alliance.
The Void Elves were also a shoved-in compromise race with not much backstory. They simply looked at the Blood Elves and thought: “Hey, let’s give the Alliance the opposite!”
Oh, this would be really a great race for them.
ightforged Draenei
Yea who wants to play what should been a custom option.
Kiltirans
Another should been custom option and they didnt even add palies to the class choice despite ya know wc3.
On top of that every single racial is complete trash besides a minor speed boost from DI.
Compare the racials to horde allied and it laughable they designed horde for pvp/pve, they designed alliance for professions 2 of which are blacksmith based and tossed in oddball instance speed boost for DI like that is really something when you can just roll a druid or sham rogue.
I don’t know why but it feels more logical for the Lightforged Draenei to be a sub-race under Draenei and Void Elves to be a sub-race under Blood Elves.
Oh, this would be really a great race for them.
I think it’s a great time for Tuskarr to pick a side, and Alliance seems to be a perfect fit.
The whole backstory could be the scourge are attacking since the helm of domination was destroyed and they went to the Alliance for help as they were being slaughtered trying to hold them back although they are generally a nomadic people the Elders of the Kalu’ak had no choice to seek outside help once again.
Easy starting area, Exile Reach should be for all new races moving forward for Horde and Alliance (less work for devs), classes could be Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, Rogue and Mage/Priest in WC3 they did have Tuskarr Sorcerers but they did use inner fire as Spell so I’m leaning more towards Priest.
Heritage Armour could be a more Wow version of the gear they used in reforge.
I like the cloak robe look in the second pic a lot.
I’d love to see the Alliance get Furbolgs. That’s been #1 on my race wishlist for years now.
Whatever you are implying by saying “one of those” just stop.
DI could have had a better hub, a better story and better mog options. Instead, one of the Alliance races with the most potential gets a section of BRD and some customization options. That’s it. That was lazy and to me; and as such, a missed opportunity.
Id like tortollans
I know many want proper high elves but tbh at this point I think offering a choice of racial between arcane and shadow along with adding paladin would be fine. Perhaps rename the race to “Exiles” as well.
Interesting idea. Chose between void or arcane racials at the barber maybe?
Tbh, I just want to see Silver Covenant High Elves. They’re nothing special, but it’s the race that makes the most sense to me.
Just like Ogres for Horde.
I’m a big fan of Warcraft I & II.
I have nothing against High Elves but I don’t want to see a slot wasted when they are pretty much all but playable via Void Elves minus some minor nuances. This would feel especially bad if the Horde got a completely new race and the Alliance got an even more minor variation on an existing one.
What someone else posted is the perfect compromise. Sort of a theme toggle for the race they could expand to some others like Wildhammer Dwarves and Dark/Sand Trolls more distinguishable.
Wildhammer Dwarves
I see Wildhammer Dwarves, I instantly agree
I mean, I totally get this point of view.
Maybe Alliance can get 1.5 races then. An allied race, and they can throw together High Elves. because everything is basically there.
As a horde main, I wouldn’t have any issue at all with Alliance getting an extra race! And tbh, anyone who did is super petty haha.
Could get a similarly easy 0.5 race for Horde, like a troll race or undead Elves.
Yeah give a dark ranger option for blood elves with a high elf option for voidies.
All they needed to do was add Sethrak

I don’t think one extra race will be enough.

I think a fair compensation for the frustration and horror the Alliances faced would be to give the Horde as the next races the Gilgoblins and Leapergnomes, just to teach Horde-only players how incredible frustrating biased the developers are.
Let’s give the Alliance snakes, birds and walrus and I think we’re close in balancing the problem out.
I think it would be good if the Horde got Gilgoblins paired with either Alliance Arakkoa, Furbolg or Jinyu/Ankoan.
However I can’t ever see them breaking the race balance between the factions by adding a race to one faction and not giving something to the other.
Your post also reads a lot like someone very salty and that rather wish to “punish” the other faction instead of just fix the issues.
Giving the horde a so called “0.5 race” when the Alliance gets a new race would even the score in the AR slots, as otherwise they were quite balanced outside of the last pair of mechagnomes and vulpera.
Now there’s a lot else to do to improve faction balance that could be done like maybe allow full cross server play/trade/guilds allowing people to draw from a larger pool of players and would greatly help current dead realms or another example would be other similar buffs like the warmode bonus xp (which for some reason is not regional by the way, so the Alliance on Oceania get the warmode bonus from the Horde heavy US even when they’re crushing the OCE Horde, get on it blizz) and more things like hall of fame in other areas of content. but I don’t think that’s too related to the AR question of the thread.

Kelfin paired with jinyu/Ankoan would be a dream for me.
Saurok paired with Sethrak would be another.
Ogres with Furbolg yet another.
Bonus if Horde gets Alteraci humans and the Alliance gets Frostborn or true Wildhammer.
true Wildhammer.
Yes!!!, imagine if Wildhammer Dwarves get a Allied Race make over also small bonus it could then give a Dwarven race the class choice of Druids being available.
