All Realms in this Region are now One Layer -- August 21

well no actually, it hasnt. now with layering gone, the precedent is that there will be no more layering.

Joyson, I suggest you try and justify your initial objection to what I have stated before finding a different point of contention to disagree with.

That said, obviously my complaint with how Classic WoW is being managed and maintained aren’t just a subjective fantasy as is evidenced by all of the other people on this forum offering their opinions and complaints about the same thing.

Have a good day, champ.

can you remind me what it was please

To be fair if we want an actual recreation of TBC launch we would not have layering. I remember the BE starting zone…

and to be fair as well, i can expect a week or two of layering at the launch of tbc. blizzard originally intended layering to solve the issues of massive populations stuck in a small area at server launches.

If your argument is from an RPG perspective of 1 reality, what part of that reality involves waiting 4 hours to exist?

How careful?

they did, but not after layers were removed. Only our US brethren had that option. Ours were right early on, and only to Kekstriker. I mean I might be wrong but I am super lazy today and busy going Norf.

it would have been the same to the game world if you were able to log in instantly or if you had to wait 8 hours. the important part is that the game world maintains continuity. the player experience is a result of the quality of the game world.

lmfao what a joke im so glad i dont play on whitemane anymore

lol gg blizz i aint paying 15$ a month for this crap. ill be unsubbing within a fortnight unless we get some change. layers and cross realms make more sense than dead servers and massive ques to play a game we pay for. are you going to reimburse us our money? no your not. every minute in que should come off our monthly sub you MUTS.

There’s enough Oceania servers, there’s just not enough (positive) justification for paying for a transfer. So of course people arn’t going to campaign for more oceania servers.

If you hit people with a stick (queues), and charge them to escape, and offer no carrots, people are going to complain loudly, it’s just human nature.

right, thats why im advocating for blizzard to give yall another chance and offer free transfers

Bing back layers for Arugal or at least explain why you have chosen to remove them.

You have plunged Arugal right back into the precise chaos layering was introduced to fix. If you don’t care about players being in massive queues then at least inform your customers of that fact.

Your post provides no explanation for why you have chosen this time (the first major addition of content in months…) to remove layers - only the simple statement that you have done so. The rest ‘safely’ ‘reached a conclusion’ are words without any explanatory content.

By way of explanation your post is no more than empty circular repetition - like fit and proper. It amounts to the following: ‘we think it is safe to remove layers now because we have now reached the conclusion that it is safe to remove layers’.

Bring back layers for Arugal.

“we’ve carefully observed and tracked the player populations on those realms.”

There we’re layers during the AQ event and there was still a small queue. You’ve pulled numbers out of nowhere and made inane choices that just simply inconvenience a large amount of your consumer base.

Arugal is at a 4 Hour Que by 6pm.

This is a perfect example of how incompetent Blizzard are these days.
Anything they make these days will fail, if they can’t even perform a simple task.
