Wind walker needs a ranged interruption like Wind Shear. They really need to appropriate that ability from Shamans and put t where it really belongs…in the Monk class. Lords knows enough classes have stolen Monks identity, to the point that Monks are now facing a serious existential identity crisis that Blizs really doesn’t have answers for atm.

Monks have gap closers, shamans don’t. No, spear hand strike doesn’t need to be ranged. This is a terrible suggestion.

I also feel as if Chi wave should be off of GcD. 
Mana tea should be off GCD. It is the most clunky spell in the MW toolkit.

These changes are disappointing. Because MW totally wanted Expel Harm to be on mastery and call it a day. Still hard to justify it being on the bars.

I was expecting big MW changes this week and… the datamined changes are like 3 changes or something… tf?
They may have done a bunch of bug fixes that don’t show up, but people wanted significant class changes and they seemingly got nothing this week after a blue post last week getting people’s hopes up.

Expel Harm now expels negative chi from the body, forming up to 3 Healing Spheres. Friendly players moving through the Healing Spheres are healed for (150% of Attack power).benefits from Mastery: Gust of Mists.
Well that was disappointing. Thought we might of actually had something big happening today.
Maybe 10.0 will have the changes we want. Every1 come back in 2years.

No word on goblin/ worgen monks, a change to expel harm for mw nobody asked for and SEF off the gcd with no bugfixes. Impressive blizz. I don’t know what I expected when they said look for big changes next week. But this wasn’t it.

Oh well. The dream is over. Back to the drawing board I guess.
I was really looking forward to playing MW Monk and it being fun in SL. Honestly from what I’ve heard about MW; MW sounds like nothing but a nerfed ‘worse’ version of BFA Monk. Depressing. How the hell am I suppose to get excited for a new xpac when mostly what they’ve done is nerf abilities VITAL to my survivability.
They have a chance to make much needed big class changes and they are ignoring this opportunity.

Yep our GM pulled an audible last week and moved me over to tanking so I’m still gonna be rocking Monk in SL. But our other specs still need help Blizz don’t let us down.

I am surprised people had hopes up at all. Major changes are not going too happen this close to release.
That said - you cannot stop campaigning. You could look at significant changes in 1 or 2 major content patches and unless you put the work in for them no, you won’t get them then if ever.

Yeah we had an announcement last week that this week would have more changes. We got our expel harm to interact with our mastery.
Pretty much “worthless” interacts with “bad”
Might be a game changer.
