This is factually incorrect, everything they buffed shares the rune, so to get chimera you lose tour pet rune

Bruh⌠itâs a game. Hunters are fine.
Whoever rolled hunter simply because of how well they have been performing in P1 should be ready to chase whatever the next meta is in the next phase, and later phases.
I doubt that any class will be as good all around with as few negative trade offs to manage, but in my opinion Warrior is the best class for group/instanced content and mage for solo/world content where hunter is a very nice middle ground being a lot of fun for both.
For sure though, one thing I have been somewhat worried about going forward is that there would be far more hunters in later phases than raid spots available for them, but perhaps this type of change will indeed cause some people who have been playing them to reroll.
In any case, good luck out there, and if you personally feel like unsubscribing thatâs your prerogative. I wouldnât hold my breath waiting for a boycott to support your decision.
My priest and paladin were faster than my hunter as well. Other classes got great runes which enabled new play and opportunities. Hunter play is identical to era.

Premades will still want 4-5 hunters even with these changes lol
Could be worse, you could be dead last waiting for enhance to be viable instead of like 3rd and 4th on bm/melee spec.

Holy LOL the mald that I live for when I see any hunter post about the nerfs, its not even that bad but yall freak out while warriors are just thriving on hopes and dreams that phase 2 will come so they can finally have intercept or they could grind forever a mediocre rune like warbringer but oh no the pets does 10% less damage lets cry about it 
It doesnât exist as far as Iâm aware. They are just blowing smoke.
Spoken like someone who has never looked at the info even once. It would take 15 seconds to open Warcraft Logs and see that pets are nearly 50% of a hunters damage in raids.
Me and my friend tried to do an SFK yesterday. Had 3 tanks leave after first boss for the ring. He eventually gave up and said let me get on my Hunter. He logged into his Hunter and me and him duod the entire SFK dungeon. When I say âduodâ, I mean his pet killed everything and tanked everything while I sat there on my lvl 22 mage in garbage greens, pressing my living flame and regeneration every now and then. His Hydra pet tanked the entire dungeon for us. He could literally solo SFK with just his pet and this was yesterday morning at around 3:00 AM EST 1/10/2024. Your pets need a nerf.

They need to make sure hunter pets donât benefit from kings, so as not to double dip (or triple dip with lion)
