This, right here, is why Exile’s Reach would be ideal for ‘taboo’ concepts like these. The Draenei Warlock doesn’t have to deal with the Exodar at all, is already a member of the Alliance at this point, and if whatever leaders in Draenei culture decide to try to argue to said character’s death, they’d be arguing against a war hero. The Alliance leader is going to lean over, purse their lips like Bugs Bunny, and say, “No.”

They would never be allowed into the Alliance. Draenei who use fel magic become manari. They would be killed on sight. See Legion for the reasons why.

That would never happen because draenei get corrupted by fel magic. They can’t be warlocks and remain sane.

I mean, yeah, that’s what PvP is about.
But that’s also how a Draenei Warlock happens. Alternatively, they could restructure starting areas to reflect classes versus races. Like how Mages would start in Dalaran, or Paladins with the Argent Crusade, etc etc.

I’m sorry but you would really need to finagle lore into a knot of hell to make Drae warlocks acceptable.
Even the whole ‘hero of the alliance means they can’t be smote’ treads on shaky ground, given that the whole of Azeroth has dealt with the Man’ari and their nonsense.

The Alliance war hero is Turalyon, Genn, Velan, or Tyrande. I’m pretty sure all would say yes to killing a Legion spy. Turalyon would probably be the one to swing the sword.

This is a game and my thoughts on race/class combos does not transfer to my thoughts on irl groups.
I have enough braincells left lying around to separate fiction from reality.

The logic I described of sharing magic and power with your allied warforce is why it reminds me of racial segregation. Logically speaking, it is a huge loss to not make efforts toward bolstering the collective might of the horde and alliance by teaching the ways of other classes to other races within each allied faction.
It is very peabrained, so peabrained that segregation is the only thing I can think of for why it isn’t happening.
That’s pretty typical for trolls today, they have no pride in their craft. Not like trolls from classic to wrath.
Fiction is always inspired by reality. Always has been and always will be. The two will never be separate.
