This bug makes me want to NOT log in. Both annoying and causes a bit of lag for me I think with how much I get spammed by these channels.

Having this issue too, every time I log in or reload, all my tabs have every chat channel enabled. Makes it very annoying because I have three separate tabs in addition to my main tab, so every time I reload or log into a character, I have to disable certain channels in each tab.

Same problem and the UI setting like frame health details don’t save either.

Ah good, it’s not just me. I was just about to make a post about this. I use multiple tabs to sort my chats and I only have the general chats in one secluded chat. Now it’s everywhere and obnoxious.

Can’t remember where I may have already posted this (on other threads) but I too am having the same issue as well as my friendlist only showing BNet friends but Not character name friends.

Don’t know if the 2 issues are related but happened at the same time (10.2.6 Plunderstorm)

I also have this problem - every load in to any of my retail characters enables all my chat channels in every tab.

I have a General, Log, and Loot/Trade setup. My custom settings are to have General contain General and LocalDefense channels (along with regular chat stuff), Log contain no channels (just combatlog stuff), and Loot/Trade contain Trade and Services channels (along with loot drops/rolls).

Every single time I load in or reload UI, fresh launch of the game or not, these settings are reverted such that each tab ends up with all of General, Trade, LocalDefense, and Services channels enabled.

Same issue here. It looks like it was reported on the EU forums also and they sent it to the devs. But it’s INCREDABLY obnoxious
 if this could be fixed, like, now
 that would be great.

There was a small patch today and this STILL isn’t fixed!?
EDIT: I’ve submitted an in-game bug report and a ticket and I think everyone else should too so this can be fixed ASAP

Add me to the list; it’s annoying having to shut everything off again every time I log in since Tuesday.

It wasn’t enough to get spammed with explorer title removed messages, now I get Trade/Service spam every time I log in. This flips on in both General and custom tabs each time I log in after turning them off. Let’s hope they fix this one soon.
