This is most likely going to be a problem until Tuesday maintenance. Its the weekend now and nothing ever gets fixed on the weekend.

I want to know why my combat/what happened to you or otherwise just spins 100 miles per second
 it just spins in raids, I don’t generally look at it but when I have died and not sure what it was
 the combat just spins and does not stop! Why? This never happened in the past.

Yep this is happening to me too, have to disable all the channels in each of my windows when I login :<

I’ve managed to code a “work around” for this (want to be clear, this is not a FIX, it’s still broken and this has to be run on every single login / reload), but unfortunately I can’t share as it’s dependent on the name of your chat frames (tabs) and what channels you had in them. But basically on login it iterates the active chat windows (FCF_IterateActiveChatWindows) calling a function I wrote that based on the name of the frame leaves the appropriate channels (ChatFrame_RemoveChannel).

For me it looks something like this


if Frame is General, leave Services, else leave General, Trade, and LocalDefense, and if the frame isn’t named “Trade (Services)” leave Services.

I don’t even have to reload for Trade and Trade Services to go back to my General tab, the moment someone speaks, it reverts to it. I suffer greatly inserts dramatic sigh

Please fix this!!! This sucks. I’m fine with everything else but resetting these damn channels every time i zone is ridiculous.
Should we just submit a ticket every time it happens on every toon?

I’m glad its not just me, I submitted a ticket and they were talking to me like I was crazy and it was just a me issue LOL

The addon called Leave Spam Channels will fix this issue and last through reloading. Confirmed tested and working.

Why are Devs so quiet never see any blue post that they even recognize what your saying? Other games they always respond much better then WoW ever has.
