Dont do it blizz. BGs against AI will be bad for the game. just scrap the idea.
I find it laughable that we have AI “PvP” in the first place.

yeah one tried sap capping on me by sapping me… starts capping for a few seconds, then derps and hits feint then starting trying to cap again but the sap already broke… I was really rooting for the guy too 
the game is too complex to have this AI crap in BGs

Who was the genius that proposed AI - on a Plaver vs Player game? They should be fired because they obviously lack some general thinking ability.

/looks at the Unreal (1998) devs.
They didn’t put the vote to kick mechanic in the game for you to not use.
The bots need their training before they get deployed into the general public. Island expeditions and the comp stomp are nothing more than you paying to field test Blizzard’s tech. For what purpose, we can only guess but a good one would be that Blizzard could slot them in queues so that people can get their LFDs, LFRs and unranked BGs done quicker.

It’s a complete joke for those who can’t handle when someone rages in the BG chat and they assume it’s about them and have a melt down then write a forum post about how the wow community is toxic

Does this mean the Arathi Blizzard fights that I thought had bots…really were bots? I was doing 10 or so Arathi Blizzard per day (I actually thought it was a fun take on my favorite BG) and a discussion in our team came up that they thought we kept fighting bots because every fight the opposing team seemed like bots to them…and they did to me too.
The entire opposition team always went Lumbermill and they did the exact same strategies each fight. Their casters did the same thing, their Hunter did the same thing and would always jump off the cliff like a moron, nobody chased outside the LM area to run me down and Arathi Blizzard is the battleground I have the best win ratio for with over %70 win-rate because the team always did the exact same thing, I always knew what they would do.

I think they are fun, unless you are a healer. They focus healers and interrupt well, but other things not so well. It would be cool to balance out some battlegrounds, unless mercenary is available.

Wouldn’t say it’s a joke. AI Bots replacing leavers until they can fill spots in BGs or dungeons seems like a very real possibility, assuming that’s the purpose.
How good the bots are is one thing, but they could be useful to backfill temporarily.

I mean what part of Player vs Player did they get the idea to do Player vs Bot.
You have Player vs Bot in PVE.
There is 0 reason to do this.
Someone slap the devs and tell them to just stop lol. Do they not even have simple common sense anymore?

It’s not even about that. It’s an actual team of pug players who queue up to “PvP” against a team of AI bots in a battleground.
They probably got the idea back in WoD when it was normal for half of a random battleground team to be bots.

AI back filling in BGs I dont get. If you do not have enough people queueing up for BGs to be able to quickly place someone in it, then your issue is way beyond a fix of using an AI.
You should easily be able to find someone to back fill a leaver BG because you dont have the “trinity” to consider. Anything is better than a bot in PvP.
If pvp is to the point they are having to use a bot then just burn pvp to the ground and start over. It means your screw ups are so bad in PvP you should reconsider everything.
