Player vs Player, so why are there official Blizzard bots?

Discussion on the issue in the General forum: When players fight in PvE they know they are fighting your AI. When players fight in PvP they want to fight other people. If there aren’t enough people for the fight, that’s just how it goes. Filling the battlegrounds with your bots isn’t the answer.
