They have to do something, people blaming Addons sound like fools… AH has worked perfectly fine with Addons through all of Classic, and suddenly stops working after they throttle the hell out of it.
Its Borderline unusable right now.

One of the things I use TSM for is buying greens. This is helpful for random players because they can get more for them than they would vendoring, I can buy them then sell the enchanting mats for a profit, and people who need to level enchanting have plenty of mats available in nice stacks of 10-20 for a decent price since supply is kept high. It’s literally a win-win-win.
I don’t need to scan the whole AH, but I do need additional functionality and wouldn’t even attempt to search for these items using the vanilla UI. Something that took me maybe 15 minutes before the throttling is now taking closer to an hour.

Maybe you should inform yourself about how addons work before talking nonsense.
There’s no need to scan the AH, blizzard has an official REST API where you can get the current AH listings, it’s updated hourly.

How about ban the people who post 200 stacks of 1 with a start bid of 1 copper (2000g buyout) so we wouldn’t feel the need for an addon to find the honest postings.

This issue is huge, sometimes an auction scan will straight up stop working and remain unfinished forever. The throttle is beyond any reasonable range, please address it.
Implementing the retail auction house should be tbe healthier route but just removing the throttle would also help. I still see the same people posting 1s 2119 buyout of every single item in the auction every 12h to scam someone

It seems very obvious Im being throttled.
Examples: Inscription I have 2 of each glyph i can profitably craft… so tsm trys to scan each glyph type i have in bags ready to post. Each page takes a few seconds to scroll even on regular ah interface, so 30 glyphs = minumium 30 pages = 30x3secs = 2mins minimum. Except TSM doesnt stop at the first page and there might be 5+ pages of certain glyphs so it takes upwards of 10 mins.
On the buying side Im limitting my shopping scans to 1 item at a time due to the same 3-5secs per page its taking. Even once I have the items showing, wether in tsm or reverting to Blizzard interface if I rapidly click more than 10 items (happens posting as well) the 11th item fails. If I wait ~ 30secs to a minute the throttle clears and can again spam click the first 10… and #11 hits the throttle wall.

I feel like they just did a global throttle. The only way it’s tolerable to buy is if you load the first page or so, but it makes doing anything with professions a pain.
AH addons are used as QOL addons for many, and they don’t realize the scanning it does is an issue. Most people don’t constantly scan, the people who just spam scan are definitely a problem.
I believe that’s why Blizzard put something in related to how often single accounts do certain things on the AH, I would have to look up specifics, but pretty there is some sort of penalty to performance for the ones that do.
Performance is also noticeably worse on large servers even without addons.
The core issue is the default UI is terrible, and wasn’t fixed until much later. Bring the retail AH over and it solves a lot of problems.
Retail Auction House reduces reliance on some addons, especially for general posting/buying.
Simple change, please do.

The AH as it is now is effectively non-functional. I had planned to actually sell inscriptions, but the default is so clunky that I’m not bothering to waste hours to post all the inscriptions by switching windows, remembering prices to undercut for 100+ different things, moving all my inscriptions into single stacks… etc. All I’ve bothered to post are the Darkmoon cards from my rep grind… and those I don’t even do very much. And that’s just the selling side. Trying to buy something is even worse looking for good prices and deals. (And I never used the big AH addons, just one that would sort price per item and show the auctions on one screen, and let me ignore the scammers).
Sure you can search, sure you can post, but it’s not at all possible to do it effectively if you actually sell or buy more than 5 things in a day, or want to make your money on the AH.

Please fix this, I am sick of searching for auctions and when I try to buy one I just get “Internal Auction Error”. How can it be addons?

They should just break TSM and remove throttling. So Auctioneer/Auctionator addons can run at normal speed and the problematic TSM is removed.
Unless you’re buying/selling a small handful of items every few days the stock UI is infuriating to use. Now throttling the crap out of the AH while using addons made it just as infuriating. This company is so out of touch it’s comical.

What was the point of running the AH experience? For a lot of players like me, that is a large part of why they play the game. This change was needless and shows a clear disregard for their players. What’s new from ActiBlizz?

I haven’t even restocked anything more than a few certain items since prepatch hit because it’s so frustrating to try and buy all the little mats that I need to make my crafts. If it’s just 1 mat here and there it’s not as big of a deal but when I want to craft multiple potions, gems, armor pieces, food, etc. it takes way too long.

Internal Auction Error isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.
What is the point if this throttling? I am not a big ah money maker. I couldnt care less about the ppl that are. Is that what this is about? Wiw karens whining that somebody is making to much gold?
