These devs acting like Victims like they arent one of the most successful mmo teams on the market intentionally choosing to ignore tickets.
They are probably ignoring tickets for people they know in fact cheated with high probability.

Agreed. All of these people that got banned are likely people trying to subvert the system, got caught, and are trying to pull the whole “I didn’t do anything my friend was just selling me an item I needed that he picked up on accident” after running a GDKP.

I agree getting copy paste response feels like a**.
We don’t know how they are treating their detection.
If its something like OSRS they have a scale where it gets hit by an autoreply if it doesn’t meet 1 of a few parameters. (aka they are 100% certain you did whatever)
If it failed one of those parameters then they will do an actual investigation.
So I do wonder if they are adopting a similar policy now.
How I think would be the best way to fix this is much more complicated and not something Ima get into of this minute but like I said I do agree it sucks.

Not true, I made a ticket about a week ago for an item missing from my inventory (a stack of crafting reagents) and got a non-automated response and restoration.
I wish this was true but its not in fact bans are so automated now bots can mass report others into a ban

I feel you man. But Jagex has the worst customer service in the industry. until a few months ago passwords WERE NOT CASE SENSITIVE. OSRS playerbase is a solid 70% Bots at any given time. And they have had repeated major false banwaves in the recent past. They aren’t a good example of a company handling customer support well.
Blizzard used to be the gold standard in MMO Customer support. But they outsourced and then removed most of the GM positions. (Im talking the old days when GM’s would actually show up in game and help you out.)
I play both games and currently haven’t had issues with Jagex. They did release their info on how many false bans there are. .36% = 38 false bans.

yes it more then likely has happened more then once, which is why I am worried it could happen to me when I try to mail myself gold, due to Anxiety, even though logically I know I should be fine.
You are right it doesn’t mean the system shouldn’t exist, that desn’t keep me from worrying about being caught up in a failure of the system.
