After DM please slow down

Hopefully BC comes out tomorrow. So we can raid the Lich king then take down death wing.

Classic BC November 2020. Do it Blizz

Maybe if they didn’t undertune the content they wouldn’t have to rush out phases.

LOL, they are only adding content that was in the original reference client, 1.12, which was Vanilla’s last patch. Naturally it had a lot more stuff in it. This isn’t a rollout of new content, for cripe’s sake.

This made me LOL. Good one. Don’t forget …

on our pandas!

If you have to time gate 15 year old content then the Museum faction of Classic wow are even more contradictory and confusing.

You asked for no changes and yet you want changes. You have this confused idea and naive desire to remain in 1.1 forever and never let Vanilla become Vanilla.

Except for the fact people didn’t know how to maximize farming and the auction house in 2004 like they do now…

Also, moved on to what content? We know there is an end to classic. People will still be raiding MC in two years. I’m not seeing the problem of “being left behind”. That is the retail mentality, not releasing Dire Maul.

No. i want them to speed up the release of actual PVP content.

The PVP drought is real.

Actually the people objecting to the fast progression are definitely not the crowd who also claim classic will die after the content has been exhausted.

This confuses me… why a year per content patch? You want classic to die? If there is nothing new to do for everyone but t1 content - i am sure we will lose a large chunk to the few pservers still out. Why does everyone think that once Naxx is released the game will die? (my only assumption on why you would want 1 year between content patches) There’s plenty of data to support that the game will still survive.

Please go back to retail.

It’s alive well and on pvp severs. Just go out to contested zones and pvp.

you’ll be enjoying a lot of bored lvl 60 camping flight path or terrorizing low-level zone if blizz don’t release BGs soon.

oh, and also an awful economy ; why pay for X when you have nothing better than farm it?

The consensus is that the raiders make up a small segment of total population. Hardcore raiders (those who would “run out” of raid content within a year) are a small segment of that small segment. So you’d have maybe 3%* leave. The rest of the raiders would have their year (less obv cause first month or three is leveling and progressing through MC) to complete MC.

Remember the vast majority of raiders have no issue doing alt runs (i.e. more raiding) after or while their “main” is gearing. It’s standard practice.

*a guess obv

They should have released everything at once. A full-blown race from zero to Naxx would have been a real show.

DM = Dire Maul

Well, Dire Maul was in Vanilla and should’ve been available, when Classic launched. Glad to see Locks and Pallies can get their Mounts!

Need to specify which wing(s) or it’s not.

Everyone always seems to forget that WoW had only been out for 23 days in EU before Dire Maul was released. Many people also seem to forget that Dire Maul came out a month before the world-first Ragnaros kill, so the people who argue that it’s a catch-up mechanic or in any way invalidates Molten Core gear are just wrong.

Uhhh, AQ and Naxx were also in Vanilla and should have been there at launch? Not quite sure I follow that logic.
