Yes it was. WoW was released in late November 2004, patch 1.3 and Dire Maul was early March 2005.
We are already having an acceleration of content release which comes at the expense of the blizzlike experience of the majority of players.

No… it really doesn’t. If they were releasing AQ then i would say its too far. They are releasing content that is 15 years old - 3 months faster than on retail vanilla. Pservers have Dire Maul opened from the launch typically… and they didn’t struggle. I think you and the people like you are just looking for any reason to cry that you can. If you dont like the game… why are you here? Let me guess… “classic will die 3 months after naxx is released” am i right?

It’s been almost 7 weeks and they’re releasing all of some updates to a dungeon.
If your bar is AQ and T2.5 then it’s a waste of time talking to you.

No, my bar is telling entitled little kids that think they know whats best to shut up already. Dire Maul DOES NOT BREAK THE GAME. There are only a handful of items that even replace pre-bis from there. You just want to cry. Retail is ------> that way. I hear they cater to your type there. Kids crying on blizzard forums is what ruined the game we all loved in its early years. Each expansion made the game easier and easier to get gear/level/avoid social interaction. You are 48. Maybe enjoy the game and stop crying for blizzard to give you your way. Personally i am indifferent on this patch. It doesnt change anything. Why dont you put this effort into crying about how its 1.12 talents and class balance - you know the thing that made the game super easy? That was 2 years and 3 months later in the game. BUT LETS CRY ABOUT A DUNGEON BEING RELEASED 3 MONTHS SOONER THAN ON RETAIL VANILLA!!! OMG WORLD (of warcraft) IS DEAD
