After DM please slow down

Honestly, yes. This whole phasing nonsense was a mistake to give this bizarre notion that Classic is “Progressive” or something. No, this is a museum piece. And if people are bored should take break. Not act like “there’s nothing to do”. We do this with all video games. When you’re numb to it because you’ve been playing it too much, take a break and come back to it, later.

I don’t care what happens in another Countries game! DM wasn’t released for a couple months! Classic has been out 5 weeks!

I’ve seen you in other threads, you’re a troll, but good try. I won’t be engaging with you.

I agree but I think a lot of people were under the assumption Blizzard would be almost a “tour guide.” Right now, 5% of the group is waiting at the door to the next exhibit clamoring to experience it as fast as possible.

They remind me of the kids that used chug their milk to get to recess faster.

Seems like a lot more than 5% are at 60 at least on my server

But are all the level 60’s trying to get content released as fast as possible, or have cleared it already? That’s where the small % comes from.

How am I a troll? Just because you disagree with my opinion does not mean you just dismiss me as a troll!

Civil Discourse learn how to do it.

Dire maul was added to help gear people out so they could clear MC. It may have been 5 months post launch originally, but it was BEFORE the first Rag clear. The world first Rag clear was 6 weeks AFTER Dire Maul was launched.

In Classic Rags been dead for 5 weeks. Tell me again how Blizzard is rushing it’s release.

I’d prefer the Museum with no Tour Guides. So people can look at their own pace.

What does another country’s game have to do with Dire Maul?

And that’s fine, but they stated they would gate things and release it in phases. They had to have a reason for that, right?

If I was Blizzard, I would try to stretch my subscriptions out, not make it so someone could clear all my content after paying $30. I want them to have to play for a couple years!

See, that makes more sense, but unfortunately we should weed out those that aren’t really for Classic, as fast as possible.

Ummm… they’re releasing one dungeon, they didn’t scrap their plans for phases and everything will be available next week.

I know this…

The person I was responding to doesn’t want gating at all.

Understand?

And DM is 3 Dungeons too.

Honest question: Is it actually 3 dungeons, or is it like how SM is technically 4 dungeons even though they’re ridiculously short?

It actually is. I haven’t done one in a while but I don’t think they were fast by any means. And considering they have different loot tables, you can’t say its one instance.

I mean he’s not wrong, the phases are entirely to create an artificial time gate on progression to try to mimic patch progression since they aren’t really doing patches.

It would be better if all the content was available and we really could just go at our own pace but phases were the compromise and releasing DM next week is not nearly the doom and gloom that some people claim it is.

Yes. I too understand.

Most folks seem to ignore that little tidbit.

Please do tell how i am a retail player? I feel like you had no argument for the statement so you resorted to low effort trolling. Cheers Mr. level 24 that thinks classic is hard.
